Biden won because Sanders just isn't willing to go for the throat. He let Shelob scuttle away on her corruption, and Sanders let Biden aimlessly wander away tonight. No killer instinct.
Of course, the so-called moderate candidates all did the same thing in every other debate Biden was in.
