Jill reacted correctly but the much more impressive feat was Symone Sanders, a Biden campaign worker (former Bernie spokesperson, in fact) both jumping on the stage and charging across it to hit the second protester who jumped on stage. She had good vision, surprising speed, and excellent commitment to the rush--moved like a solid defensive tackle!
Also: sort the fucking security out, people. I'm not a fan of these Dem candidates but I'm even less of a fan of threats of political violence.
Watching Biden compensate for his mental decline is straight upsetting. He'll lose his place in a speech, and then cover it by saying "Oh you don't want to see me get all riled up." I noticed the same thing last night. Biden does this all the time, and it's getting worse. He interrupts himself when he can't continue his stream of thought. Honestly, it felt like the crowd was enabling him. Like they were encouraging a disabled person to give him confidence. Very sad.
Anyone with their eyes open can tell that he is not up to this task. I have never seen anything so peculiar in my life.
