Guess what we had this morning? Snow!!

I’m not an expert in judging such events, but the deck had a light dusting. I’m guessing that’s classified as a blizzard...

Someone here has dubbed Mayor Pete the gay Obama. Very shrewd and totally correct. Same manner. Same arrogance. Same inexperience. Same failure in governing. Looks good. Sounds good. Good talker. Harvard.

The irony here is that Blacks won't vote for him. Not at all.

Lost in the hubub over Romney being the first-ever Senator to vote to remove a president from his own party: this was the first presidential impeachment in which no count against the president got the votes of even half the Senate.

"Someone here has dubbed Mayor Pete the gay Obama”

BTW, they are giving Sneaky Pete the “halo” treatment.

Beto O’Rourke writes about Iowa’s low caucus turnout in a new Medium post: “We’re in the middle of a national emergency, and people are staying home.”

Who is this “we” Kimosabe?

Whoever the Democrat nominee is, that person will choose Deval Patrick as VP on the ticket.

Ann's be here now is our see there then

I think the Democrats would do better with Danica Patrick as the VP.

Howard, I nominate that for thread winner already.

Came upon a car accident last night. Held a door open on an incline with another woman while a man crouched on the passenger side and gave the unresponsiveness woman in the driver's seat CPR until the police and ambulances arrived. (The driver side door wouldn't open, so she couldn't be moved.) Found out this morning that she died. What a shame.

Thanks Yancey. My wife's favorite show on NPR is Here and Now, but it should be called There and Then.

"I think the Democrats would do better with Danica Patrick as the VP."

That's probably smart; she's used to not winning.

Very sad to hear that, Freeman. Good to know so many people tried to help.

Oooh, I think maybe Calypso Facto edge ahead there!

Danica Patrick was not A.J. Foyt or Richard Petty.
However, there were 32 other drivers on the track with her, who also were not A.J. Foyt or Richard Petty.

Turley has a column out saying Pelosi should resign. He's right (again).

So the Trump DNA request is a fishing expedition because there are some unknown skin cells on her dress? There were four people’s skin cells on her dress, was she raped four times? Three of them were from people at a photo shoot. What would that prove exactly? That Trump doesn’t remember meeting her out of the thousands of people he has met, but actually he did?

Freeman, sorry to hear the woman died. I wonder if her spirit saw all the people trying to help her. I’d like to think it did.

My girlfriend, who hates Trump thought that there was probably something to the Mueller Report, why would they be spending all of that time on the news about it? She had some hopes for impeachment, but when I told her that Schiff was working on a second impeachment, she said “Give it up already, stop wasting money.”

Ann:

You were right. Below is from the Washington Free Beacon.

“If conservatism is your bag, if conservatism is the dominating factor in how you vote," Limbaugh said in February 2016, "there is no other choice for you in this campaign than Ted Cruz, because you are exactly right: This is the closest in our lifetimes we have ever been to Ronald Reagan."
