You never know who was double-dipping just before you arrived. and yes - the employees don't care at all. A manager told me once that the employees never touch the food bar based on what they see all day.
Root for the home team. The Playoff for the National Championship has created a catch-22. To be winners the teams need to recruit the 5 Star recruits, but those guys all want to either go to the playoffs or quit after not going and getting in the secondary Bowl games. They quite rationally need to get ready for the NFL Draft.
Wisconsin has done well in bowl games under coach Paul Chryst. The Badgers seem to prosper when they have a lot of time to prepare. Also, this Badger team is quite fast. Speed is normally one of the Ducks advantages.
That said, I won't jinx the Badgers by making a prediction.
The Ducks have done well for years by stocking their offense with undersized super-fast black guys. Unfortunately for them, the best defensive athletes aren't interested in playing in Cold Rainy Eugene when they can play in Seattle with U-W or in California.
I grew up in Eugene, and I used to watch the ducks when they always lost. The local talent was no match for the Californians, but it was fun to cheer them. Now they are Team Nike, and they are Californians. Mostly thugs transferred in from junior colleges. I don't go to games any more, but I still read about them in the paper. They get arrested a lot.
"I always root against the Ducks, because their uniforms are so weird. They look like a team of space aliens. Or Gay dancers with Helmets."
Well, that's one thing you can't blame on the team. After Phil Knight bought the University of Oregon, he decided to use the football team to showcase the work of Nike designers. It all comes out of Beaverton.
After watching the nationally ranked Utes get blown out by the Horns last night, I can safely say that the Pac 12 is not on a par with the other big conferences.
Due to the fact that I live in the Portland area, my sympathies are with the Ducks. Since Phil Knight bought them, they're the closest thing we have to an NFL team. I hope for a good game, and as long as Justin Hebert doesn't play the way he did against Arizona State, I think it will be. rcocean: I think Seattle is just as cold and rainy as Eugene (but, yeah- bigger market).
I'm not opposed to the Badgers over the Ducks but I'm not very invested in that game. I'm a SEC homer and so far it's going the way I want it. I want the SEC to go 9-1 with Mississippi State being the loser, which has already happened. Kentucky scored to take the lead with 15 seconds to go yesterday and that was sweet. The 9-1 includes both of LSU's games and I predict LSU defeats Clemson by at least 20 points. Right now I'm 4-1 with three SEC teams competing today.
"Clemson by 3. Sure LSU looked good against the Sooners but Oklahoma should never have been ranked that high, anyway."
According to LSU insiders, they think that Oklahoma was the 5th best team they played this year behind Alabama, Auburn, Florida, and Georgia. I think the other two teams in the playoff would have beaten Oklahoma easily but not nearly as easy as LSU did. The LSU offense has not had a bad game this year and their defense has been stellar since the second half against my team, Ole Miss.
WI looks good. I hate O since that one guy cold-cocked that Iowa player. As an aside: We enjoyed watching the BAMA game eating cheese and beef sticks my son and DIL brought us from WI.

While I usually pull for the Badgers, I've got to root for the Ducks today. That said, Wisconsin will most likely win.
There aren’t enough teams named the Swans. Swans are mean fuckers.
Good Morning and Happy New Year!
Why I never eat Whole Foods food bar.

I wonder if the Ducks will cheat with helmets made of mirrors again or figure out another way?

Badgers and Bluejays win.
The NYT is ripping racist UW.
I am temporarily in a hotel while my fire-damaged home is repaired. The hotel has a pond out back where ducks and geese thrive.
Walking the dogs is like crossing a goose crap mine field.
I'd like to see several badgers chew up geese.
The Badgers have a monster defense, but I'm going for the Ducks. Quack, quack!

"The Badgers have a monster defense..."
Ohio State scored 34 and 38 in their two wins. So less than monster.
Oregon by 14.
Alabama by 24.
Georgia loses to Baylor in a squeaker.
You heard it here first.

The badgers had better bring some defense, because they aren't going to outscore the Ducks.

Train the badgers to use shotguns, ducks can't outrun that.

Ducks are generally preferable to badgers.
Badgers stink.
As a Pac-12 fan who can't stand the Ducks - or the Big 10 - here's hoping for injuries.
Well, not really. Make it a good game.

Sure, because fur hats aren't expensive enough.
Could be JT’s last game as a badger as I think he will enter the nfl draft. He’s going to do many big things there too!
You don't want to see Badgers chewing Beavers?
How much did Michigan pay Harbaugh for that four-loss season?
WI looks good. I hate O since that one guy cold-cocked that Iowa player. As an aside: We enjoyed watching the BAMA game eating cheese and beef sticks my son and DIL brought us from WI.
Classic Barry.
Nice Job Mr. Paul.
Let 'em in.
Score, yet get the ball back.
How does that happen, and what effect does it have?
WI has shown for decades: The team that chose to receive to start shows they disrespect momentum. The Holy Grail of college football.
They chose to receive and WI will choose to give then. Again.

About $900,000 more than Purdue paid to Jeff Brohm for their four-win season. So, money well spent.

Even if I weren't an Oregon Duck I'd say there something not quite right about Bucky Badger.
Everybody is ginna be okay.
Win, lose, if you know, you know, it don't matter.
Look in hindsight my bias overwhelms any other possible bias.
No foolin'/jokin 'round.
