“Firefall” at Horsetail Fall in Yosemite National Park, California, looks like a scene from a fantasy movie. But, it is an ordinary waterfall, which is illuminated by the sunset, that gives it a fiery glow. pic.twitter.com/kP2aFmM6Cg

Beautiful
Cool. Here is the other, man-made Yosemite Firefall ... it's no longer performed.
It's no Lake Mendota sunrise, but nice.
It looks like the waterfall's water was "turned on" just before the video was taken, the water hadn't made it all the way down to the bottom yet.
Spectacular.
Here's a bit more of an authentic "firefall", lava flowing of a cliff from the Kilauea volcano (Hawaii) into the ocean.
That is pretty wild. I wonder if it looks that 'firey' in real life as it does on video?
Looks like a good argument for travel.
Took a motorcycle trip to Yosemite a few years back... Missed the fire part, but the views were still spectacular.
Went to Yosemite several times as a child in the late 50's and early 60's. Everyone in the Valley would shout out "Firefall" as the burning wood was pushed over the edge from Glacier Point.
Good to see Art in LA noted the original Yosemite Firefall, which was the subject of a Huell Howser California’s Gold episode. Non-Golden Staters May not know Huell is. Look it up.
"Firefall" is also the name of a pretty good episode of Kolchak: The Night Stalker, about a doppelganger that spontaneously combusts people when they fall asleep so it can take their place.
That is amazing. Thanks for posting.
Beautiful picture, loved the band.
"The dragon wakes" makes for a better story though.
