If you want to watch the whole show, it's here. Very long. More than 2 hours. I've listened to most of it, and I'm really not terribly impressed by her. She has some big points, which she keeps making, and they don't really cohere. So often she says something that makes me think Joe is about to say, "Then why isn't Trump right?" He comes close a few times. He's cagey. He wants to make sure everyone knows he is against Trump, but he's putting pro-Trump ideas out there, whether he means to or not.

They're battling for future VP nominations. Don't think they'll get it, but if its a white male nominee, it'll be a female VP - probably POC.

I think Gabbard has crossover appeal whereas Harris does not. Trump has is too -- much more than Gabbard who lacks experience and exposure. Maybe I'm blinded by my dislike of Harris and her California Ueber Alles fake momentum.

What was Harris *ever* doing in this race? Nasty, unlikeable, unaccomplished.
Well, the answer is that she was a fabrication of hollow Democrat values and political aspirations, just like that other recent Prez candidate of her hue. And they shared those other characteristics as well, except that he was "likeable" - to some who weren't very good judges of sincerity.
Kamala isn’t a Top Tier Candidate anymore. Thanks to Tulsi.
Maybe Tulsi figures stepping on Kamala will move her up in the VP stakes.

I had the same experience. I kept saying, "So why are you different than Trump?" No regime-change wars for the last three years... Relatively tiny deployments in Iraq and Afghanistan. Is she saying she wants the Trump foreign policy with Democratic domestic policy?
Anyway, Harris and Gabbard are both fringe candidates now. It doesn't matter what they say anymore, except as entertainment.

Well, Trump IS right.
To quote Glenn Reynolds' current mantra, "All the Democrats had to do was be sane...". The saner they sound, the more they approximate Trump.
Neither Gabbard nor Rogan can say what they really think.
If they did I suspect they will be eaten alive.
And they know that.
I listened to the podcast so I did not watch it but the thought that kept occurring to me is, President Trump should kick out Vice President Pence for the 2020 race and bring in Tulsi as VP. I really don’t think they are that far apart. If her could teach her to run the press like he does he could win in a landslide in 2020 and she could be in for 8 years beyond that.

In the land of the blind, the one-eyed woman is queen.
I should add that Kamala Harris's candidacy deserves to die. Why? Because it's the Hillary Clinton "everything must be focus group tested" mode of politicking. If you so lack your own political instincts and must poll-test every move and every position, you simply don't belong on the national political stage because you're not a leader, you're a follower. Full stop.
I watched the first debate because I wanted to see what the fuss over Tulsi was all about. Of course, her looks had something to do with it, too. She didn't get much speaking time in that first debate. I suspect when the next debate along, she thought she'd make her limited time worthwhile. So, she clobbered Harris.
Over time, I've noticed Tulsi seems to be somewhat scripted and a bit wooden, despite that marvelous, reassuring voice (no little girl Tulsi!). But she doesn't seem to do spontaneous well, at least not in the debates. Knock her off message, and she just drones on with the message.
It's puzzling in fact, why she's running. There's interest out there, but no traction in the polls.
I listen to many of Rogan's podcasts, bypassing the UFC and other inane guests. He is intelligent, but he doesn't realize he just on the cusp of supporting Republicans. I haven't listened to this episode, yet, but on her last appearance, Tulsi appeared very level-headed.
