Trump, just now, on the success of his withdrawal from Syria.

I liked his recognition of the absurdity of 'fighting terrorism' abroad while unchecked immigration is a more immediate threat to our national security.

Our best move is to open up gas and oil production and make the ME irrelevant.

Trump is doing that and moving us out of the ME.

No war for oil right?

But the leftists are all up in arms about it.

Sure looks like they were just a bunch of cynical fucks looking for power over other people the whole time.

It'll be "Trump's withdrawal" until it's success can't be denied, then it will be "withdrawal of 'our' military" from Syria.

I keep hearing how he's not presidential. Number one, the proof of the pudding is in the eating, and it looks like he done good for the United States of America. Number two, the only thing I can detect in his demeanor which might be objectionable is that he uses contractions. In other words, he doesn't talk like one of the characters in True Grit (who would say, he does not talk). I find that I can live with that.

Tomorrow's MSM Headlines Today: "Trump "Pounces" on "our military's well conceived and executed withdrawal from Syrian/Turkish border area" in order to steal credit!!"

Tomorrow's Flashback MSM Headlines: "Obama Campaign Alumni recall how obama killed Bin Laden"

One of our city councilmen, a Vietnam vet, has been known to say "A leader gives credit, he doesn't take credit". I wish Trump were more like that, but he's far better than Obama was in that department!

You will know it is a success when Democrats start to take credit. As Reagan said, when they stopped calling it "Reaganomics," you know it was working.

Also, why are the Democrat voters putting "Health Care" #1 in their list of election issues ? I thought they fixed that in 2009.

What success? If the status quo restored is a success then disturbing it, which is what he did, was a failure.

Are the troops home? I read the US has “guaranteed” a border. Isn’t that what the US was doing 2 weeks ago?

""A leader gives credit, he doesn't take credit".

I like that too, but most important of all is having something to take credit for. If this is successful, it's pretty hard not to give Trump the credit. Everybody else was against it, left, right, and top to bottom, at least among the elite and the "experts". If it fails, he also gets "credit" for that.

Trump can make people take almost any position he wants with a single tweet. Now that's power.

In the WSJ, this Rasmussen poll was discussed- the polled were asked to agree or disagree with the following statement:

"It is time for us to get out of these ridiculous endless wars, many of them tribal, and bring our soldiers home."

The results were that 55% of Democrats agreed with this and 69% of Republicans (which should clue you in to who made this statement, by the way). If Trump brings them home from Afghanistan next Spring/Summer, who is going to want to run against that decision? No one.

Hide and watch haters. DJT is garnering FDR level love and affection for his masterful Commander-in Chief moves. And that love and affection has gone world wide.

Can you explain to me why we have been pouring weapons into a civil war in Syria? Why did Hillary advise Obama to do it? Why did he do it? Why did John Kerry continue the policy? Ending a civil war is a good thing. If Congress wants to declare war, let them, let us fight to win, conquer Syria, etc, etc, etc. This should be called Sidney Blumenthal’s War.

Don’t these arguments you have been making sound familiar? Don’t they sound a lot like the arguments that people made to get us to go to war in Iraq? “What about the Swamp Arabs?” “He gassed his own people!” Etc, etc, etc. I thought we had an election on that. I thought we decided that we weren’t going to throw any more live kids after dead in this kinds of wars. Wasn’t that what the whole Obama election was about?

Kenny B, struggling so hard to turn a win into a defeat when all this sturm and drang isn't necessary Kenny.

You see, everyone already knew you were a know-nothing following the breadcrumb trail given to you by the lefty media.

But don't worry, we won't expect much out of you in the future either! So, you know, the pressure is off!

Congrats.

Aunty Trump: "I thought we had an election on that. I thought we decided that we weren’t going to throw any more live kids after dead in this kinds of wars. Wasn’t that what the whole Obama election was about?"

And there it is, isn't it?

Kenny B is upset that obama and the establishment have been made to look like precisely what they are: corrupt morons who really don't understand anything.

That's the real "crime" here. Trump has exposed the "experts" as being not very expert at all.

Remember when moving the embassy to Jerusalem was going to ignite a Middle East inferno the likes of which we've never seen?

"experts"

Tucker Carlson says it best: we have the worst and most ignorant "elites" than at any other time in our history.

Ken B is sad because his attacks on Trump came with a two week expiration policy.
You're late, bro.
Even the Democratics have dropped their foolishness.

Go warmonger elsewhere.
We're full up here.

So, which troops have come home? Isn’t the USA guaranteeing a border? Weren’t they doing that 2 weeks ago? Where is the big win?
As Farmer would say, lots of bluster, no real change.
But just look at the logic, restoring the status quo ante is a triumph? Then why wasn’t just preserving it the right policy? If the ceasefire holds then Trump took a pointless risk, gave Erdogan a huge win — which is disastrous— and the worst was averted. Not good stewardship.

Ken B, all you have to do is ask and I will let you use my chicken hawk avatar.

Somebody please let Ken B. know that restoring the status quo - without the need for US troops - is not considered a failure by some people.

Turkey disturbed the status quo (of the Kurds) by returning to a previous status quo (of the Syrians) which had been disturbed by an attempt to return to the previous status quo (of before Assad) and all this disturbing and overturning is and always has been the status quo in the Middle East so that we could return at any moment - and they wouldn't know we'd gone - or that we came back. Except, I suppose they'd try to get a pallet of cash from us. Half pallet? Shoebox?

Howard: "Putin smiling like Cheshire cat"

Thats because your beloved lefty Germans just expanded the NordStream pipeline which puts Putin in direct control of 30%+ of the German energy supply AND undermines NATO partnership.

Nice try dummy.

Hey Howard, did you ever take the time to read up on the PKK?

I'm guessing the answer remains "no".

The Assad dynasty is a fascist Baathist state that has been a Russian satrapy for a few generations. Putin can keep it. Russia is a gas station with an army.

Howard thinks a nation with the GDP of Italy poses an actual geo-political threat.

Its not.

China is the threat and China owns the dems. Thats why Biden was running around naked screaming China is not a competitor!!

LOLOL

Something tells me thats going to make it into quite a few election commercials in midwest battleground states.
