"Chester coming out of the pouch for his first hop. He doesn't stay out long, but he was brave and that was a great first hop."

"It’s ok Chester, I don’t like to stay out long either. Introverts unite!"

I love that. I have seen some other examples of orphaned kangaroo and wallaby joeys kept in a warm pouch and fed. They do fine.

One thing that's always puzzled me about kangaroos - do they go #1 and #2 in there? Or do they have to come out to do their business from the start?

“She is able to push her long snout in to clean it effectively, removing the urine and feces of the young joey by using her tongue,” Dr. McCann said. “She works her tongue around a young joey that is still attached to the teat, and older joeys are temporarily ejected while she cleans the pouch.”

That's even worse than those ants with fungus growing out of their heads.

Aww.

Some kangaroo mums fail to keep the pouch clean and joeys have suffocated.

But soon, he wanted to hop again.

Chester shouldn't be expected to take first hop where around the corner could be lurking a Tasmanian devil.

Jethro Tull - The Story of The Hare Who Lost His Spectacles (~ 1:15)

Owl loved to rest quietly whilst no one was watching.
Sitting on a fence one day,
He was surprised when suddenly a kangaroo ran close by.
Now this may not seem strange, but when Owl overheard Kangaroo whisper to no one in
Particular,
"The hare has lost his spectacles," well, he began to wonder.

Wait til you get to the surprise ending!

Good one, Skippy.

Acute introversion. Given a proper incentive, he'll grow out of it.

Chester probably thinks we walk funny. Creation is a wonderful thing.

Tell me about it.

Holed up in Botswana, off the grid. Get R44’s to give me regular spins over the Delta, then get back to whatever black girl I’m fucking and ponder what the next bizarre paragraph will be on this solo world tour. Away is very good for the introvert, but scary moving from refuge to refuge. Wonderful during and after.

I think it needs more hops.

Somehow it makes me imagine a Life Long Democrat (LLD) voting for Trump in 2020.

I don't know why.
