That said, Harvard very well knew that admitting Hogg was going to open questions and they certainly could have prepared a statement to that effect, but apparently they chose not to do so. So while I normally consider such a half-baked attempt to get a comment to be poor form, in this case this was not a surprise and it has the markings of the university trying to dodge the issue. Let's be honest: 1270 is awfully low for a Harvard admission. I suspect that is low for a student athlete and probably is near or below the floor for a desperation diversity admission. According to prepscholar.com, a 1270 is average for schools like UMass, Drexel, and Syracuse. There's nothing wrong with those schools, other than what is wrong with higher education in general, but it ain't Harvard.; ২৩/১২/১৮, ৩:০৫ PM
