"Lenny Letter, the website and newsletter created by Lena Dunham and Jenni Konner, will be shutting down on Friday..."

Started in 2015 by the Girls co-creators, Lenny Letter first launched as a weekly email newsletter with advice, essays and product recommendations for millennial women, before expanding to a website. Its mission statement read at the time of its launch: 'Lenny is your over sharing Internet friend who will yell at you about your finances, help you choose a bathing suit, lamp, president … AND tell you what to do if you need an abortion.'... During its tenure, the newsletter grew to more than 500,000 subscribers...."

Yes. Oh noes! Who's going to yell at me and tell me what to do now?

Nevermind I'm married.

It is the maturation of the feminist movement.

It is now consuming the democrat party.

LOL! I first read that as "masturbation of the feminist movement", Achilles.

Also entirely accurate and very perceptive.

I've always had major problems with Lena Dunham.

My wife, her friends, our neighbors insisted that "Girls" depicted a great, authentic, group of modern young women, and that my neanderthal ass needed to try watching it at least one time.

So, finally I gave in, I flipped the channel to see the show midstream, the female chunky monkey, Hannah Horvath, is on the dance floor in some tank top dancing away. Ok, I thought, not too atrocious, but not too interesting.

But then she casually took off her top on the dance floor and swapped shirts with her dance partner (a la post soccer match), and I almost gagged at the sight of her pudgy, malproportioned, gelatinous physique -- it was so bad, it nearly turned me gay.

Sorry about your Lenny letter, Lena, but no more stripping, please. At least not on tv.

FYI
In women's minds there is a picture of "An Awful Woman". It doesn't use the same words for an older woman as for a nasty woman - that's how it differs from what men say. It's a picture of the state of a woman's emotions - demanding, self-centered, loud, boring, unaware, unamusing, Lena Dunham.

It's disgusting being "represented" by order of The Overlords by self-centered and boring women. Edgy is boring. Too stupid to stop being stupid is boring. Hillary is boring. Lena Dunham is boring. Self-centered is boring. #MeFirst is boring.

As Milton says of the beast-headed human revellers in Comus:
"And they, so perfect is their misery,
Not once perceive their foul disfigurement,
But boast themselves more comely than before."

"AND tell you what to do if you need an abortion"

No one "needs" an abortion.

So a half a million viewers does not a viable website make. Good to know.

"Get woke, go broke."

Is this the same person, that tv show, where she took all her clothes off to show herself screwing on a ping pong table?
