"That’s pretty crazy for this kind of restaurant and area that we live in, you wouldn’t really see that coming."

Said "an Upper West Side resident," in a CBS local news article that begins "Police say a man jumped out of a popular Upper West Side eatery’s walk-in freezer, grabbed a knife and started attacking employees, then died later at a hospital on Sunday morning."

Outside of the Upper West Side and in less trendy restaurants, men jumping out of freezers is more what you'd expect.

That's one of the problems. The policies sponsored by liberals are visited upon the deplorables and in the areas populated by the deplorables. The elite keep themselves insulated from the consequences of their terrible ideas. Having more of the open drug-use proponents and illegals leaving some massive BMs and needles in the lobbies of Upper West/East condos and cooperatives will give them a little more insight.

Missing the point: that sort of thing, random violence by crazies, happens among other people, you know, up in Harlem or the Bronx or Camden or . . . The wrong sort of people, you know, the sort of people RBG once told we could use less of, not our kind of people, woke and white. Crazy is other people in other places.

Speaking of missing... you're missing the sarcasm.

In Soviet Upper West Side, frozen meat in restaurant kills you....

Yeah, I'm going to New York tomorrow for a few days. I have to meet some shyster lawyers in Lower Manhattan. I will suggest we go to this place for lunch, because it is very safe.

What are the odds that another crazed freezer attacker hits the same place in one week?

This is what happens when hermetically-sealed Bernie Sanders (like Han Solo in Empire Strikes Back) first learns of 4.1% GDP growth.

Was wondering what was so odd since it was such a popular freezer. As I scrolled down the articles at the link, I noticed a number of people falling from the sky in the famous Oculus, and floating by in the famous river and leaping about molesting females young and old. I thought to myself, "I want to be a part of it, New York, New York". However, there's a lot of toddlin in Chicago too.

I got the sarcasm, such as it was, perfectly well. It just missed the actual implication of the quote.

But I take it we are in agreement.

I had breakfast at the east side location years back. It was okay but not for the prices they charged. No celebrities or madmen the time I dined, but it may be trendier now. You need an English tea room ambience to really provide proper contrast for a naked madman, At Planet Hollywood who would even notice a naked madman?

I remember once I was flying to Europe coach and a man brought his son out of first class for a walk around the plane. Every few seconds when his son would reach to touch something, the man said “Dirty!...Dirty!” Maybe this guy was that son.

By “this guy” I meant the guy who was surprised this happened at a “nice” restaurant.

Yes, indeed. Everyone who's anyone knows that, unlike the UWS, flyover country is really weird and best avoided.
