A poor physical condition is an obstacle to weathering the heat. Stripping is a temporary measure to address the symptom, while the cause persists and likely progresses.
A few years ago something like that happened in our small city. During a heat wave, guy was walking down the street naked early in the morning. Mentally ill people on lithium (and other antipsychotic medications) do not fare very well in the heat. During normal weather the guy was a benign character.
Another moronic adult. Probably not married, never had young daughters.
Any parent who's had young daughters, had to protect them, had to worry about them, had to teach them to use good judgment, doesn't have much patience for adult morons like this dude.
Silly northerners seem to react to 95F as if it's hot. That is normal for peak summer here. But today it was a pleasant 82F in the Big A. The Coca Cola Company hardest hit.

Questioning will fix it.
And it was perfectly legal!
Vermont is such a fun state. It has hunting, trash burning, random naked people, and socialists!
If he was walking around Church Street I'm surprised anyone took notice.
You want people to take notice do it in January.
Hot and bothered.
Pretty soon he can write a book:
The Naked and the Red.
I'd be worried about sunburn. Especially if I were a man.
"The Naked and the Red."
Heh. Yeah. Exactly.
And I don't think I have ever before thought about putting sunblock on one's penis.

Here in Vegas we think of little else.
The man says he's doing nothing but enjoying himself.
How exactly?
He lives loudly in bush.
At least he wasn't wearing shorts

"This is good for sunburn, right?"
Notice he's wearing a "wife beater".
At least the guy didn't became lodged in the liquid tarmac!
"Vermont was under a heat advisory that day, with the National Weather Service predicting a heat index of 102 degrees."
Jeez, they can't even give the temperature.
That might be because the Burlington high temp for July 6th turns out to be a blistering 77F.

Talk about winning...
If he ran, he'd be a streaker. If he wore an overcoat, he'd be a flasher. But walking naked, you're just a nudist.
Florida Man says "You think that's hot, Vermont Man?"
Why is this news ?
It's cool today, but it was a genuine 100 degrees à couple days ago.
Fernand,
It's 76 today. The previous 5 days it was in the 95 to 101, which is very unusual for Northern Vermont.

OK, it was 96 - quite a big change in a day. (Learned: go to "monthly" to see previous days!)
FWIW, the LOW for Yuma was 89F, said the former desert dweller.

Sure, but when I do it, it's a crime.
They made it illegal in downtown Brattleboro after an old wrinkly German tourist did it and put thé other tourists off their feed.

It was the sandals with black socks that did it.
I just went outside and looked at the thermometer [in the shade] and it's 118 F.

Anything in Vermont that begins with a "B..."
Just for openers.
