The model on the cover of Playboy looks kind of like Ann Margret, but it's Venita Wolf, She was a minor actress who lived from 1945 to 2014 — not too minor to have a Wikipedia article:

The legend of "The Kandy-Kolored Tangerine Flake Streamline Baby" is that Wolfe pled writer's block after visiting the car show. The editor took pity on him and asked him to send in his notes for another writer to work from. And then published the notes verbatim.
Judging from the next 50 years of output, it's possible that Wolfe just writes that way.

I saw the movie, read the Wolfe book, and undoubtedly saw the centerfold. The other stuff--Jacqueline Susan and Julia Child--didn't register at all. I don't remember the centerfold or anything about the Wolfe book, but I do have some vague memories of the Arabesque film. Of the memorabilia, the Arabesque movie was for me the most memorable.
