Dichotomy? Isn't that a trans-gender verb??
This may have been asked by someone before, I'm sure many times, what exactly was it that Bill Clinton saw in Hillary that convinced him to marry the woman?

He knew he was sterile. He figured he was taking one for the team!.....and he fucked that up as well.
Browns selected Baker mayfield.
Right after Goodell said that the live feed crashed.
what exactly was it that Bill Clinton saw in Hillary that convinced him to marry the woman?
He thought she was little Mis-Understanding!!
Here's a beauty: "BREAKING: By a 534-94 margin, deputies vote ‘no confidence’ in Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel - WPLG"
Would you call that vote "overwhelming?
I had a lot of fun reading this article about Amy Chozick's new book about the Hillary Clinton campaign.
One key quote: "Chozick and the other [female] reporters covering Clinton in 2015–16 were pulling for her. You could hear it in the questions they asked. Chozick makes it obvious in her new book. Yet Clinton was convinced this gaggle of liberal women was somehow out to take her down, and she barricaded herself off from them. She was a glum loner" ...
We didn't just dodge a bullet in November 2016, we dodged a cannon shell.
Would you call that vote "overwhelming?
85% of the deputies have no confidence in Sheriff Israel? Yes, overwhelming sounds about right.

The next Sheriff needs to watch those 94 deputies.
No decent person could support Scott Israel. He is filth.
In the upcoming days, we all will be learning a lot about the role of Cody Shearer in initiating the RussiaGate hoax.
Here is a start:
=================
... Cody Shearer was raised in a media family, which was also a Clinton family. His father was Lloyd Shearer, who wrote a Hollywood gossip column for Parade magazine under the pseudonym Walter Scott. The Shearers’ Brentwood, Calif., home, says a source who knows the Shearer family, “was a real West Coast political center. You’d find actors and TV people rubbing elbows with politicians, like Bill Clinton. The Shearer kids all hitched their wagons to the Clintons. And once he became president they all came with him to Washington.”
The eldest Shearer sibling, Derek, became Clinton’s ambassador to Finland. Cody’s late twin sister, Brooke, served as an aide to Hillary Clinton during the 1992 campaign and later worked in the Clinton White House. Brooke also worked as a private investigator for Terry Lenzner, who helped dig up dirt on one of Bill Clinton’s accusers, Paula Corbin Jones.
Brooke Shearer was married to Clinton’s former Oxford classmate Strobe Talbott, deputy secretary of state in the Clinton administration. Talbott is now president of Brookings Institution in Washington, D.C. Cody Shearer apparently traded on his brother-in-law’s position.
In the mid-’90s, during the middle of the breakup of the former Yugoslavia, Shearer represented himself to associates of Bosnian-Serb President Radovan Karadzic as an agent of the State Department. Shearer told his Serbian contacts that he was in contact with Talbott, as well as President Clinton. The Serbs gave Shearer at least $25,000 in exchange for the help he promised in ameliorating impending war crimes charges against Karadzic. It’s not clear whether his promised assistance helped, since Karadzic was found guilty of genocide, war crimes, and crimes against humanity in 2016 at the International Criminal Tribunal. Talbott reportedly knew of his brother-in-law’s efforts but was unsuccessful in stopping him.
“Cody was the black sheep of the family,” says the Shearer family acquaintance. “No one really knew what he was going to do for a living, and lots of people are still unsure what he does. When he went to Washington, he got close to Sidney Blumenthal.”
Blumenthal is the former Washington Post and New Yorker writer who earned enmity from some of his colleagues for using his pen and position to defend the Clintons and attack their rivals. In 1997, he joined the White House as a senior adviser. When he took that job, the joke within the White House press corps was that Blumenthal should put in for “back pay.”
It surprised few veterans of the White House press corps that Blumenthal and Fusion GPS would surface together in the Trump-Russia story.
Simpson has previously described what he does as “journalism-for-hire,” and his organization provides journalists with enough leads for stories and sources that many print and broadcast outlets in Washington and New York consider him a valued asset. ....

"This may have been asked by someone before, I'm sure many times, what exactly was it that Bill Clinton saw in Hillary that convinced him to marry the woman?"
I'm guessing it was the absolute certainty that sex would not interfere with their political partnership.
Bret Baier: "When did you learn that the DNC and Hillary Clinton campaign had funded Christopher Steele's work?
James Comey: "I still don't know that for a fact."
That is some LLR level incompetence right there.
I fully expect to see some tweets leaked that show Comey was convinced Hillary was going to win Michigan.
Ann invites us to consider the relationship between form-beauty-aesthetics and thought-logic-search for truth, and her readers respond by wondering what Bill ever saw in Hillary and berating the Jew cop.
My specious expertise: read Ruskin 'Of Truth of Skies" and G.M. Hopkins poems, and see what Ann has come across in the Times in the morning.
The bear scat post was strange. Turns out Creationist Biotechnology graduates are responsible for sifting the shit. Pretty fancy title.Probably a labor of love, I guess.
It appears that James Comey as FBI director worked very hard to establish plausible deniability via ignorance of every major element of the hoax-based spying-investigation into domestic political opponents.
Looks like McCabe will be the designated fall guy (we already knew that of course as Comey has already thrown McCabe under the bus).
Lets see how much fight McCabe has in him now that both Comey and Lisa Page turned the tables on him.
Who's next?
I'm guessing Priestap...bigly.
LLR Chuck hardest hit.
Cardinals get Josh Rosen. I'm happy.
A rainbow flag and a Calvin Klein ad.
Man, I need to go back to art school to catch up on this cutting edge shit.
Here in Nevada we are getting TV ads with Tom Steyer soliciting signatures for a petition to impeach the President, and to elect a congress that will do so. Then what ?
Who's next?
I'm guessing Priestap...bigly.
I'm guessing Priestap ratted them out months ago.
This is going to get ugly, especially for Inga.
""Chozick and the other [female] reporters covering Clinton in 2015–16 were pulling for her."
I like the quotes about how much she hates everybody.

It's going to be simultaneously sad and hilarious when this investigation is all over and millions Trump sychophants will have to face some unpleasant facts about their Golden God with feet of clay.
Keep telling yourselves it's all just a bad dream....

I'm upset that Althouse edited such important text.

Was before salacious became delicious
Comey looks very bad in the Baker interview. What struck me most was the “I thought of it as “ stuff. He didn’t think of it as work product, he didn’t think of it as leaking, etc, etc.
Goodell just ruins everything, yes comey got a few curve balls but not what he deserved.
I thought there was something familiar about that top photo so I checked it out. Went to the Home Depot downtown, aisle 14, on the left. It's a copyrighted chart of the Sherwin Williams product line.
Why does Comey remind me of the guy driving his Camaro into the abyss while "Free Bird" plays in a loop?
COMEY: Two things. His primary focus was our Going Dark Challenge. Helping us think through and articulate and fight for access to encrypted communications and then law enforcement data was a big part of his responsibilities.
BAIER: So, did you leak other things through Mr. Richman?
COMEY: Yeah. The only reason I'm smiling, I don't consider what I shared Mr. Richman a leak. I told him about an unclassified conversation with the President. I gave him —
BAIER: Okay, but the FBI protocol —
COMEY: Let me answer your question.
BAIER: — you went through this with Anderson last night.
COMEY: I gave him nothing else ever to share with the media.
BAIER: FBI protocol says your own employment agreement with the FBI prohibits “the unauthorized disclosure of any information or material from or related to FBI files or any information acquired by virtue of my official employment without prior written permission from the FBI.” Did have you written permission?
COMEY: No and I didn't consider it part of an FBI file. All the things that I talked about with Anderson.
BAIER: You wrote it as FBI director. It was work product.
COMEY: No. It was not. It was my personal aid to memoir.
BAIER: You were talking to the President.
COMEY: Sure I carried two copies of it. One to keep in my personal safe at home and I left another one at the FBI so the Bureau could always have access to it, but I always thought of it as mine like a diary.
BAIER: Who else did you give, leak, whatever you want to call it?
COMEY: Use is what I prefer.
BAIER: Yeah. The memos to.
COMEY: I gave the memos to my legal team after I gave them to Dan Richman after I gave them to the media. I'm sorry, gave four memos to my legal team.
BAIER: Which included Patrick Fitzgerald.
COMEY: Patrick Fitzgerald.
BAIER: He was a legal team at that time?
COMEY: Correct, sure.
BAIER: And Dan —
COMEY: David Kelly and Dan Richman.
BAIER: — David Kelly and — okay. You said in the memos I said I don't do sneaky things, I don't leak. I don't do weasel moves. But, I mean, we can argue what a leak is but that's a leak, isn't it?
COMEY: It's not.
BAIER: Okay. Here's what you told Chuck Grassley about leaking.
REPUBLICAN SENATOR CHUCK GRASSLEY (Iowa) [on 05/03/17]: Director Comey, have you ever been an anonymous source in news reports about matters relating to the Trump investigation or the Clinton investigation?
COMEY [on 05/03/17]: Never.
GRASSLEY [on 05/03/17]: Has any classified information relating to President Trump or his association — associates been declassified or — and shared with the media?
COMEY [on 05/03/17]: Not to my knowledge.
BAIER: So at what point were you made aware that some of the information was classified by the FBI?
COMEY: Which information?
BAIER: In the memos?
COMEY: Oh, yeah. I don't know, some time after I was fired the FBI apparently made a decision that there were some words in at least two of the memos, maybe one, I think two, that were diplomatically sensitive and so my lawyers returned them to the FBI. But my testimony was truthful and I stand by it. I was hoping you were going to ask me that.
BAIER: I am. I was.
COMEY: It was truthful.
You can't make this shit up.
Comey is done. The only thing that can save him is jury nullification. Still a good bet with Democrat voters I guess.
These people are just awful.
If they try it in dc, possibly

Comey is clueless and tone deaf. He inadvertently wrecked Hillary's campaign; to overcompensate he tried to wreck Trump - and it hasn't worked. Good riddance.
This is a,war cabinet like if Palmerston had been there in 1853

YGBIVRO is a dichotomy: The slice is between V and R.
Very clever. It rhymes with the Periodic Table.
“It rhymes with the Periodic Table.”
I mean, it’s easy to imagine the right end wrapping back to join the left end. Very Moebius.
Hockey. Prior to two weeks ago I had never watched a hockey game in my life but have been following the Stanley Cup playoffs with some interest. Tonight, though, the Las Vegas Golden Knights are really trouncing the San Jose Sharks. It's not even interesting and, though I'm pulling for the Knights, I hope the series won't be so one-sided.
The earlier match with the Capitols and the Penguins was more exciting, with Pittsburgh coming from behind to win in the third.
You didn't see this coming:
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5663053/NBCs-Tom-Brokaw-accused-sexual-harassment-two-women.html
I read that Comey/ Bauer dialogue and wonder whether Megan Kelly could have ever held herself like that. I think not. I think her interaction with Trump destroyed her as a journalist.
Per Ken B: What struck me most was the “I thought of it as “ stuff. He didn’t think of it as work product, he didn’t think of it as leaking, etc, etc.
Kinda like Bill Clinton didn't think of a blow job as 'sex'.

.... The the Shearer memo ... is made up of two four-page reports,
* one titled “Donald Trump—Background Notes — The Compromised Candidate,”
* the other “FSB Interview” (the initials standing for the Russian Federal Security Service).
The only Trump campaign figures named are Donald Trump himself and his former campaign manager, Paul Manafort ...
Shearer may be hinting at a third person .... a “cut out” or intermediary through whom the prospective “president of the U.S.” would communicate “into President Putin’s office." ...
The first Shearer report .... alleges that Trump has been compromised by Russia and has engaged in illegal financial transactions with Russian figures .... Shearer offers no source for these allegations, or proof of these transactions. ...
Shearer’s memo passes along unsubstantiated gossip about Trump’s sex life: According to Shearer’s FSB source, it was “From observing Trump for years in previous visits to Moscow, the FSB knew he had a weakness for women.”
Shearer’s FSB source told him “that he knew that Trump eventually learned that he had been flipped in a honeypot operation in Moscow.” .... Trump was “filmed twice in Moscow in November 2013, during the Miss Universe pageant. Once in the presidential suite of the Ritz Carlton Hotel.” The FSB source “believes a copy of the sex videos is in Bulgaria, Israel and FSB political unit vaults in Moscow." ...
Shearer’s ostensible Russian sources explain that the explicit purpose of the FSB operation is to elect Trump. The Turk’s FSB source says it was “launched with a wild-eyed fantasy of electing someone president of the U.S. who communicated through a cut out into President Putin’s office.”
Again as in the Steele dossier, there are allegations of Russia stealing Clinton emails and tampering with voting machines. According to the Turkish businessman’s contact: “The Trump operation also involved hacking his opponents and trying to alter votes on election day.”
The Shearer memos also describe a split in Russia’s ruling circles ... One side is eager to help Trump, another thinks it’s unwise to get in the middle of American politics. Shearer’s FSB source presents himself as a member of the moderate faction. He claims he is spilling the beans to Shearer in order to help restore U.S.-Russia relations. ...
The FBI ... had asked [Christopher] Steele to provide any supporting information [for the Fusion GPS dossier]. .. It appears that Steele gave the FBI the Shearer report titled “FSB Interview" ... He ... withheld the first, "The Compromisaed Candidate" report ....
During the same period, late summer and early fall [2016], the FBI was seeking a FISA warrant on Carter Page. A Department of Justice spokesperson declined comment when RCI [Real Clear Investigations] emailed to ask if the Shearer memo was used as part of the Steele dossier to secure the warrant on Page’s communications ....
If Steele received both of Shearer’s reports in September 2016, that would contradict the information in the FBI’s warrant application that said Steele didn’t know who was paying for his work. The source of the funding was right there in Shearer's first memo. ... If Steele had both of Shearer’s reports, he knew he was being paid by the DNC. ....
Whoever saw both of Shearer’s reports would have known that the DNC was paying for the Fusion GPS campaign — long before the information became public a year later, in October 2017. ... the story was circulating through the press corps for months ...

Sadly this is,in keeping with shearers sponsor JonathAn Winer who was working for apco, which also repped uranium one,
Winer got his start in the Kerry committee some thirty years ago, laundering incredible allegations from dubious sources
