Unwittingly!

"Michael Moore participated in anti-Trump rally allegedly organized by Russians" (Fox News).

(If that link fails, I'm going to have to stop linking to Fox News.)

The post title is a witting allusion to the latest indictment in the Mueller investigation.

And let me quote Trump's best tweet one more time: Get smart America!

Unwittingly, the link worked for me.

Failed, then worked. Literally.

It is now failing for me.

I have had it with Fox News. If a story there interests me, from now on, I will simply look for the same thing elsewhere (or quote enough of it so you don't have to click and tell you not to click because the link is probably bad).

I get "Access Denied You don't have permission to access "http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2018/02/20/michael-moore-participated-in-anti-trump-rally-allegedly-organized-by-russians.html" on this server." They're not even nice about it.

MikeR said...

Wow - they actually mention specifically that Nov. 12 rally. What does "organize" mean, I wonder? They were involved, or it was actually their doing?
Hilarious.

"Failed, then worked. Literally."

You made me try it again and then it worked.

MikeR said...

"Access Denied You don't have permission..." I got that. I reloaded and it worked.

I googled "Fox News" and was able to get at it there.

Maybe it was an Altalanch?

Real life is so unbelievable.

So Michael Moore, who obsesses over the Russian Trump conspiracy, went to a rally pushed by the Russian conspiracy.

Left Bank of the Charles said...

Who says it was unwitting? I smell collusion. Michael Moore taking orders from Moscow, that’s hiding in plain sight.

traditionalguy said...

That makes sense, Fox being half pro Trump and half against him.

Is it time yet for a Get Smart tag? Maybe along with an Agent 99 for the Feministas.

I agree with Left Bank. If Moore didn’t register as an agent of a foreign government then he needs some jail time to contemplate the error of his ways.

DownDetector.com is showing possible problems with Fox News with numerous reports coming in.

And just look at that ugly sweater he's wearing. I wouldn't be surprised to learn he stole a terra-cotta thumb somewhere.

Ack! My google account has been attacked by Russian Trolls, trying to sow discord on this thread:

Американские корпорации — Facebook, Twitter, Google — сотрудничают с властями, разыскивая следы «троллей» на своих площадках. Западные СМИ — The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, CNN, The Daily Beast и др. — почти ежедневно публикуют новые факты о возможном российском вмешательстве в президентскую кампанию: находят новые сообщества, работавшие до и после выборов, связанные с ними объявления и мероприятия.

Wonder if it is just traffic overload on Fox?

Meade said...

Last year, Moore wrote on Facebook: "It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out what was going on: TRUMP COLLUDING WITH THE RUSSIANS TO THROW THE ELECTION TO HIM. What?— this old terra-cotta thumb? It's just something I picked up at a lucky rabbit's foot farm somewhere. Why?"

Information fission. The multi-billion dollar investors from Mexico, China, Iran et al amplified the effect to influence the vote.

Rally was also heavily pumped by MSNBC and CNN according to Drudge.

More Russian co-conspirators.

Moore already is smart.

You can participate in a Russia-instigated anti-Trump rally and bitch about Russian interference in an American election/American politics, and know that no one on your side will hold you accountable. Doing Russia's bidding is good when it serves the cause, opposing Russia is good when it serves the cause: progs are consistent even when they practice contradictions. It is smart to know that, as a prog, you can get away with anything. (Except displaying your private parts to young women in hotel rooms.)

But Moore was actually smart to anticipate a Trump victory.

I'd say put a Mohamed tattoo on his forehead and put him in Guantanamo among the incarcerated population. They'll take care of him.

Michael Moore is a bot?

NYT, WaPo, CNN etc are bot operations?

Where have all the colorful clumps of cells gone?

This is like an Outer Limits episode.

Maybe being from Michigan makes one moore susceptible to Russian manipulation, and knee-jerk opposition to Trump. Just saying...

Who knew the Russians staged anti-Trump rallies?

Certainly not anyone who heard about the Russian indictments through the normal news channels.

Kevin said...

I guess this was Trump colluding with the Russians to stage anti-Trump rallies to entrap Micheal Moore and make it look less like collusion.

MikeR asks a relevant question:

"What does "organize" mean, I wonder?"

From what I could glean from the indictment- they initiated the protests with social media, but the permits, for example, were obtained by actual citizens (for the most part) who took up the task when responding to the social media calls. This is main reason I think the described budget was far, far less than the Mueller indictment claimed. This troll farm had a lot of other business than the US election, and I think Mueller was perfectly happy to conflate expenses. Indeed, my entire impression of this operation is that it wasn't even a political operation, but was probably profitable financial fraud that took advantage of prevailing political passions.

n.n said...

It wasn't Russian trolls, but rather trolls from Russia... then American trolls during the Obama administration and trolls from America (after Obama) supersized them. And the NYT, WaPo, CNN et al got fat off the profits.

Moore's progressive, as in progressive Heart disease. A disease of the spirit. Why T wins. T is Andrew Jackson. I'll represent you, no one else is". Knowing both parties must die and take their establishments with them. So They must depose T now, united in one dying convulsion. YouTube search "Guilder Power" for why. Trigger warning. All of them. Short form. the people are changing their minds all at one time.

Sure sure. The Russians might think they got alot of bang for the buck having Moore head up their "Increased Dem/Lefty/LLR Flexibility For Putin" Tour.
But I guarantee that Moore cost them plenty at the Buffet.

He always gets them back at the Buffet..
