BTW, I find it both amusing and oddly reassuring that many of the cartoons exist in a timeless bubble. The decades roll by, American society is transformed - and yet Dagwood still eats massive sandwiches, Mary Worth gives advice to the dumb chick involved with the philandering doctor, the mom in "Family Circus" never updates her hairstyle, and Hagar the Horrible is still dumb as ever.
I live in the city and country but not the suburbs, so it's often several years between mall visits. Recently I was shocked to see a high-end suburban mall in Northern California well on its way to becoming a barren howling wasteland.
Malls and shops are very different. As for me I prefer to visit the small shops. The dissertation writing service provides a lot of useful content. Thank you.

I had forgotten about the Comics Curmudgeon -- thanks for the link, as I wanted to get his opinion of the current asinine Rex Morgan storyline.
"I had forgotten about the Comics Curmudgeon..."
It's just amazing that Comics Curmudgeon can maintain a fresh sense of wonder and silly outrage after sooooo many years.
Curtis must dream about a disembodied penis smashing his face forever.
Two of my must-reads are Althouse and Josh, but I never expected them to cross over like this.
Killed off by online shopping for the poors and new urbanism for the haves.

Except for the anchor stores, mall shoppers are overwhelmingly teenagers and recent immigrants. Maybe some old, white folks walking in the mornings.
The mom in Family Circus still has a rockin' bod, too.Sometimes the forces of reaction get it right.
