No.
I thought yes after a first look at the news this morning, but the answer is no.
Here's the headline at CNN: "US fighter jets stage mock bombing drill over Korean Peninsula."
Text: "Two days after North Korea flew a missile over Japan, the United States and South Korea staged their own show of force with state-of-the-art stealth fighters Thursday. Four US F-35B fighter jets joined two US B-1B bombers and four South Korean F-15 fighter jets in the joint US-South Korean flyover of the Korean Peninsula, an official with the South Korean air force told CNN...."
"Korean Peninsula" — in other words: South Korea.

C'mon. This is all trumps fault. A real president would be shipping Kim oil and nuclear plant parts. Or pallets of cash.
paenae = almost, insula = island
Nice catch.
A bunch Crazy youngsters doing flyovers buzzing he DMZ. Trump will probably give them medals. No Empathy!
It always pays to take a deep breath, hold it for 10 full seconds, then slowly exhale...
Is 6 U.S. planes a bunch? And wouldn't it have to be a "mock" bombing run if it were fighter jets?
...show of force with state-of-the-art stealth fighters...
If the fighters are so stealthy, how did the force show?

There were also two bombers.

Stealthy they may be, but I'm just guessing they're not silent.
Which reminds me of this quotation from William Manchester:
"Korea hangs like a lumpy phallus between the sprawling thighs of Manchuria and the Sea of Japan."
- American Caesar
I'm sensing a theme here with all this male phallic peninsularian machismoi:
You got to understand
I'm your man, child...
Lord of the Thighs
Well, well, Lordie my God,
What do we got here?
She's flashin' 'cross the floor,
Make it perfectly clear
You're the bait, and you're the hook, someone 'bound to take a look
I'm your man, child Lord of the thighs
You must of come here to find it,
You've got the look in your eyes
Although you really don't mind it
I am the Lord of your thighs
You must of come here to find it baby,
You've got the look in your eyes
Although you really don't mind it
I am the Lord of your thighs
F-35s and F15s can carry air-to-ground ordnance, too
According to the WSJ after their flyover they did some bombing runs at a South Korean facility. Did anyone else see the photo yesterday of So. Korea doing a simulated anti-Nork missile base attack during these current exercises? Lots of messaging going on.

I can't speak for the F 35s or F 15s, but I did get to experience a B1 fly over at the Chicago air show. It was eerily quite compared to the other jets.
We always report it as "over the Korean peninsula," but it always turns out to be South Korea, not North Korea. It's an intimidation move, but it's not quite parallel to North Korea sending missiles through Japanese airspace.
US F-35B decoys for northbound MQ-9 Reapers with both as decoys for offshore subs.
I daresay, the subs as decoys for a four-man team in Pyongyang.
Stealth relates to radar detection. The only true "stealth" plane is Wonder Woman's invisible jet. Except for being able to see her sitting in the cockpit in her colorful costume.

I have not had >that pleasure. Yet stealth technology does not spoof eyeballs.
Sorry. I meant to say B2. Very quiet and it does not reflect sunlight.
