Meade- where do you get your bulbs?

Beauty!

It's climbing season on Everest.

Apparently, the Hillary Step has collapsed.

Is this where you want to photoshop Trump?

The Hillary Step, named after Hillary Rodham Clinton who, along with her sherpa John Podesta, was the first person to climb the mountain in 1953, may have been destroyed during the vase throwing incident of 2016.

Springtime flowers are the best. Those are particularly lovely. Nice job.

Or, maybe she's lying low until 2020: Hillary Step has not collapsed, officials say.

Speaking of orbs...

Maybe the Hillary Step merely has pneumonia.

Irony abounds. Red China donates a Karl Marx monument to the summer capital of the Roman Empire, and the Huns run the EU.

Surprised the heavy flower heads are not drooping. When it rains it usually beats down the heavy flowers on such slender stalks

Allium generally have very strong stalks that I've never seen droop before the flower bulb is blown. Mine are already starting to blow, though. Only nice looking flowers in my garden, I've been neglecting it.

Meade -

Wondering how many years these have been there? Thanks!

Meade ayon kay ...

Sarah B, I bought those from John Scheepers. I had a lot more sun out there when I planted them 8 years ago but the 2 street trees I put in around the same time have really taken off and alliums need strictly full-sun. We might have to dig them up, sell the house, and move to Idaho.

Meade ayon kay ...

Rick, I planted 200 of them in 2009 -- a mix of 'Purple Sensation' and I'd have to look up the name of the other variety.

Thanks Ann. Thanks Meade.

The observing's better in New Mexico.

Eight years already. Time flies.

"Eight years already. Time flies."

And only recently have we been having fun.

Thanks! Was wondering with the shade. The largest one I know Gladiator and Globemaster. Well done on these and the other plants we've been seeing.

Thank you! Lovely!

The first photo is really strikingly beautiful due to composition/light contrast.

I love that border. I don't think it would survive my wildlife, but it is really very beautiful and works well with the house. It has an old English garden feel to it.

I'm impressed, Meade.
