"A Tuesday morning WikiLeaks event in Berlin did not produce an '#OctoberSurprise' to derail the Hillary Clinton presidential campaign that many had expected...."
“I’ve seen the internet and I understand there is enormous expectation in the United States,” said Assange, the site's editor, via video conference at the event, celebrating the 10-year anniversary of WikiLeaks held at 10 a.m. Berlin time.

“Some of that expectation will be addressed [when I announce upcoming projects]. But you should understand that if we’re going to make a major publication in relation to the United States at a particular hour, we don’t do it at 3 a.m.”

How many political junkies were nevertheless up at that hour, I wonder?

Etienne કહ્યું...

Can't we just drone this guy?

No wait, drone the whole fucking embassy. No wait, drone the whole fucking grid-square.

traditionalguy કહ્યું...

That was a dumb move by Assange. He needs to hack the story of the boy who cried wolf.

I thought it was Ecuadorians (Ecuadorites?).

to live outside the law, you must be honest

Hoping for some game changing event--like Hillary succumbing to ringworm or Assange dropping some new hacked material--is pointless wishful thinking. This election will be won or lost on turnout alone. We're well past the point of either of them expanding their constituencies or changing the narratives--the only question now is who shows up November 8.

This is the kind of thing that will get you back in the good graces with the globalists.

Sorry to be that guy but I think he made a deal. Hillary was selling arms in Libya. You know those emails got deleted. Now they are on a server that gets released when assange dies.

Assange is playing the conspiracy crowd. He knows he has the Alex Jones audience and he is playing them.

Well said.

I do wonder what could convince an HRC supporter to turn against her. I think she's pretty much like Trump, and could shoot someone and keep 3/4 of her voters.

Smells like a deal to me. So the terms? Probably immunity and millions in Clinton Cash.

Did he wake up with a llama's head in his bed?

Well, I never thought he had anything outside the already released DNC material. However, Assange hurts his brand with this sort of thing. What he does is important, and he needs to keep it honest and as above-board at all times with the advertising. Better yet, when you do have something, the impact is greater is you release it without warning.

He is just trying to get out of the embassy and not get killed.

3AM. Isn't that when Trump would be up and reading his email?

Bill Crawford કહ્યું...

One article said the president of Ecuador supports Clinton and opposes Trump. He let it be known through the embassy that anything that hurt Clinton would be frowned upon (translation: Assange would need to find new lodging.)

Would this be an example of a foreign country interfering in our political process? Sure, Ecuador isn't Russia but still....

SukieTawdry કહ્યું...

Enough of the drama queen act, Assange. If you've got something, release it.

Annie કહ્યું...

rightguy, that was my first thought. He was offered a lot of cash and freedom.

Or the threat of being droned or Benghazi'd was recent.
