Inappropriate touching:
Well, I spied a girl and before she could leave
“Let’s go and play Adam and Eve”
I took her by the hand and my heart it was thumpin’
When she said, “Hey man, you crazy or sumpin’
You see what happened last time they started”
To live freely in writing...
Well, I spied a girl and before she could leave
“Let’s go and play Adam and Eve”
I took her by the hand and my heart it was thumpin’
When she said, “Hey man, you crazy or sumpin’
You see what happened last time they started”

You got the lyrics wrong. And you, a Bob Dylan fan!
Well, I spied me a girl before she could leave
I said, "Let's go play Adam and Eve"
I took her by the hand and my heart was thumpin'
When she said, "Hey man, you crazy or something"
You seen what happened last time they started.

Copied them from bobdylan.com
Will add a link.
There are 2 versions at the link, I believe.
I hear "seen" on the original record too.
And the added "me."
Link added.
And I was wrong. There's only one version at the link.
Is it me or is this the same melody as in John Birch Society?
I’m leavin’ today
I’ll be on my way
Of this I can’t say very much
But if you want me to
I can be just like you
An’ pretend that we never have touched
An’ if anybody asks me
“Is it easy to forget?”
I’ll say, “It’s easily done
You just pick anyone
An’ pretend that you never have met!”
She Belongs To Me
Written by: Bob Dylan
She’s got everything she needs
She’s an artist, she don’t look back
She’s got everything she needs
She’s an artist, she don’t look back
She can take the dark out of the nighttime
And paint the daytime black
You will start out standing
Proud to steal her anything she sees
You will start out standing
Proud to steal her anything she sees
But you will wind up peeking through her keyhole
Down upon your knees
Ode to Hillary
"She never stumbles
She’s got no place to fall
She never stumbles
She’s got no place to fall
She’s nobody’s child
The Law can’t touch her at all"
"So I turned on my Conelrad"
I used to take the bus downtown in the early 60's to sit with my mom as she needed my help descending the stairs of the dentist office, where they pulled all her teeth out.
Outside the dentist building was a big civil defense sign, and stairs going into the basement. I asked her if we could go down.
"No!"
@Kassaar I agree. I always thought Dylan's "Talking Blues" songs (WW3, John Birch, Bear Mountain Picnic, etc.) were all, broadly speaking, the same "tune", but I haven't really listened closely enough to feel completely confident of that.

I appreciate the thought, and perhaps it sounds better sung in a certain nasal voice, but why is this great poetry?
@ Sebatian:
It's only great if it speaks to you. I greatly enjoyed this album ("Freewheelin") and another Dylan album released just before or after it. I discovered Dylan in the mid-70's in my 20s, and regardedis work from that period (early-mid 60's)very highly. Haven't heard it in many years.
That said, there's nothing I'm less likely to read than a long post of song lyrics or poetry. People mean well, but it just doesn't work for me on the printed page.
I was a football player on scholarship in the early eighty's, so I wasn't allowed to have a job. Instead, I would busk in the Rathskeller, and Dylan got me the most beer money. It's nice that he got something out of it as well.
Kassaar and Ficta are right, not only Dylan's but Guthrie's and Ramblin' Jack's Talking Blues have the same chord pattern, but different topical lyrics.
The Lonesome Death of Hattie Carroll - Bob Dylan
William Zanzinger killed poor Hattie Carroll
With a cane that he twirled around his diamond ring finger
At a Baltimore hotel society gathering
And the cops were called in and his weapon took from him
As they rode him in custody down to the station
And booked William Zanzinger for first-degree murder
But you who philosophize disgrace and criticize all fears
Take the rag away from your face
Now ain't the time for your tears
William Zanzinger, who at twenty-four years
Owns a tobacco farm of six hundred acres
With rich wealthy parents who provide and protect him
And high office relations in the politics of Maryland
Reacted to his deed with a shrug of his shoulders
And swear words and sneering, and his tongue it was snarling
In a matter of minutes, on bail was out walking
But you who philosophize disgrace and criticize fears
Take the rag away from your face
Now ain't the time for your tears
Hattie Carroll was a maid in the kitchen
She was fifty-one years old and gave birth to ten children
Who carried the dishes and took out the garbage
And never sat once at the head of the table
And didn't even talk to the people at the table
Who just cleaned up all the food from the table
And emptied the ashtrays on a whole other level
Got killed by a blow, lay slain by a cane
That sailed through the air and came down through the room
Doomed and determined to destroy all the gentle
And she never done nothing to William Zanzinger
And you who philosophize disgrace and criticize all fears
Take the rag away from your face
Now ain't the time for your tears
In the courtroom of honor, the judge pounded his gavel
To show that all's equal and that the courts are on the level
And that the strings in the books ain't pulled and persuaded
And that even the nobles get properly handled
Once that the cops have chased after and caught 'em
And that the ladder of law has no top and no bottom
Stared at the person who killed for no reason
Who just happened to be feelin' that way without warnin'
And he spoke through his cloak, most deep and distinguished
And handed out strongly, for penalty and repentance
William Zanzinger with a six-month sentence
Oh, but you who philosophize disgrace and criticize all fears
Bury the rag deep in your face
For now's the time for your tears
Buckets of Rain - Bob Dylan
Buckets of rain
Buckets of tears
Got all them buckets coming out of my ears
Buckets of moonbeams in my hand
You got all the love honey baby
I can stand.
I been meek
And hard like an oak
I seen pretty people disappear like smoke
Friends will arrive friends will disappear
If you want me honey baby
I'll be here.
I like your smile
And your fingertips
I like the way that you move your hips
I like the cool way you look at me
Everything about you is bringing me
Misery.
Little red wagon
Little red bike
I ain't no monkey but I know what I like
I like the way you love me strong and slow
I'm taking you with me honey baby
When I go.
Life is sad
Life is a bust
All ya can do is do what you must
You do what you must do and ya do it well
I'll do it for you honey baby
Can't you tell?
My father heard me playing the WWIII Talking Blues when he walked past my room in our house. Something caught his attention and he stopped to listen for a minute. He enjoyed it, thought it pretty funny and clever.
Although my father had a real sense of humor, I didn't expect him to allow himself to appreciate this music. Fooled me again.
