I read somewhere that the China airport kerfluffle actually was due to an argument between the Hangchow Airport authorities and the Secret Service as to who would operate the gangway and by the time they had compromised on that the Airport would handle it, but the Secret Service could have a couple of guys riding along, it was too late; Air Force One was already on the apron and the President had to get out of it somehow.
And this kind of does sound just like the Secret Service, doesn't it?

I swore ('Facebook swore') I'd never use that feature but in fact I have, two or three times re-posting my nonsense from years ago. I need rehab, perhaps.
