The wife and I were in Krakow and Warsaw, Poland last week, and I have to say the Krakow Ethno-centric Museum and the Warsaw Uprising and Jewish museums were the best we have seen since the Smithsonian. Despite having spent 26 years in the military, including three combat tours in two wars, I can also humbly say I have never known heroes anything like the ones depicted in the Warsaw museums - including men, women and children. The depravity of the Germans during the Warsaw occupation was nauseating. The manner in which the Russians encouraged the Poles to rise against the Nazis, then watched disinterested from across the Vistula River while the Nazis eliminated the Polish patriots, was no less evil. What we took away, apart from admiration for the Polish people, was that passively allowing the state to disarm its citizenry is the height of folly. I hope Americans never allow themselves to be disarmed.

Clearly, the ant masses more than the bee--the ant's flower petals are weighed down more than are the bee's flower's....

We traveled to Bend, Oregon for the labor day weekend. Trump has the HiWay 97, I-82 corridor vote locked up!!
"Forget it, Jake! It's Eastern Washington!".
Furthermore, the Bernie 2016 bumper stickers have not morphed into Hillary bumper stickers here in the Soviet of Seattle.
