While his wife, Huma Abedin, travels the country campaigning for Hillary Clinton, the disgraced ex-congressman has been sexting with a busty brunette out West — and even sent her a lurid crotch shot with his toddler son in the picture, The Post has learned....Carlos is into the danger. Have a little empathy. You know I do. It's his sexual orientation. And it's safe sex. Except the part where you humiliate your wife, whose name I'd put right next to the word "humiliate" if a thousand writers hadn't already done that juxtaposition. It's not a new humiliation, just another iteration of the old humiliation.
Weiner was clearly aroused by his conversation with the 40-something divorcee when he abruptly changed the subject.
“Someone just climbed into my bed,” Weiner wrote.
“Really?” she responded.
Weiner then hit “send” on the cringe-inducing image, which shows a bulge in his white, Jockey-brand boxer briefs and his son cuddled up to his left, wrapped in a light-green blanket.
“You do realize you can see you[r] Weiner in that pic??” the woman wrote.
Moments after forwarding the photo, Weiner freaked out over the possibility he had accidentally posted it publicly — just as he did during the infamous episode that forced him to resign from Congress in 2011.
“Ooooooh . . . I was scared. For half a second I thought I posted something. Stop looking at my crotch,” Weiner wrote back....
Karl Marx wrote that history repeats itself, "the first time as tragedy, the second time as farce."
But this is Anthony Weiner's third time.
The first got him bullied out of Congress by who knows exactly which forces within the Democratic Party — Hillobaschumer? Tragic!
The second was when he was running for major of NYC, the comical repeat documented in the movie "Weiner," which we were just watching the other day. Yes, truly: farce.
And now, again. Once more, with feeling. Once more, with the child in the picture. Once more, with open discussion of the excitement he gets from risking fucking his wife again. Fucking — I mean that metaphorically.
I'd say the third time is the modern psychological novel — inviting us to explore the complications of a modern marriage.
UPDATE: I put up a new post about Huma finally separating from Anthony: here.

It's like a rom-com, for instance, The Holiday, where there is one main couple, and one comic couple. I think they are all based on Much Ado About Nothing
By means of "noting" (which, in Shakespeare's day, sounded the same as "nothing" as in the play's title, and which means gossip, rumour, and overhearing), Benedick and Beatrice are tricked into confessing their love for each other, and Claudio is tricked into rejecting Hero at the altar on the erroneous belief that she has been unfaithful. At the end, Benedick and Beatrice join forces to set things right, and the others join in a dance celebrating the marriages of the two couples
Anyway, try as they might, they are not going to turn Bill and Hillary into the kinds of ideal couple that make the lead in a romantic comedy.
Time to separate that dick of a human from the child in his care.
Though Huma and Wiener would do OK as the butt of a great deal of nasty humor, it's just that nobody in the whole foursome has any kind of redeeming qualities.
@tim
They're smart. They have toned torsos.
("Torsi" I learned from crossword puzzles.)
I'd say the third time is the modern psychological novel — inviting us to explore the complications of a modern marriage.
Complications easily avoided by merely not being a complete fricking idiot.
They're a fascinating mystery. She's so closed and he's so open. Why are they together? Why were they ever together? Why are they still together? Are they together now for the child? Would that explain the exposure of the child in a sexual context? What do I have to do to unlock myself from this locked off lady?
Seems like Hillary! and Huma married men who like to humiliate them.
Time to ask:
Who has the more despicable husband?
1) Huma Abedin
2) Her boss
“She has asked me not to comment except to say that our conversations were private, often included pictures of her nieces and nephews and my son and were always appropriate,” he said.
She told him to say that their conversations often included pictures of her nieces and nephews? I'm not sure if that's the least believable part of this whole thing or the weirdest.
"Complications easily avoided by merely not being a complete fricking idiot.
But we still read "Anna Karenina" and "Madame Bovary" and all the rest of the modern novels.
Karl Marx wrote that history repeats itself, "the first time as tragedy, the second time as farce."
At least Marx was consistently wrong about everything.
They're smart. They have toned torsos
I will give you that Bill is smart. Hillary is the author of train wreck after train wreck. How smart can she be? Though it appears from the emails released that she is into Nuvigil, which is a kind of smart pill. So she is at least dimly aware that she is not as smart as she could be. I took it for a while for a sleep problem, and it easily raised my IQ by ten points, for about a month... then the receptors wore off, I guess.
Wherein I digress even more: How do I know it raised my IQ? Well the first clue was that I was looking for me keys, and I didn't keep looking in the same places as I normally would. I went back in the kitchen to look by the fridge, but I knew to a certainty that the keys were not there. I didn't even bother to look again as I normally would have. It was kind of shocking. The second event was reading the documentation of a programming function that I had never really understood, but I had always managed to sort of hack with it to get the right result, so it didn't matter whether I really understood the ins and outs, but this time I read it and it was clear as day how to use it and I used got the proper result the first try.
I would love to be as smart permanently as I was for that month.
The Clintons and Weiners are the truly dangerous ones. Psychos in dysfunctional marriages. Neither Hillary or Huma should have access to the nuke codes. Unstable.
At last. Some new news. I was getting tired of watching The Media's 24/7 panel discussions about Trump softening and Trump hardening his positions, along with Anne Coulter who wants the Hardest Trump and threatening to leave a softening Trump.
And this one has pictures, too.
None of the articles I've seen tell how Weiner's texting came to be known by the public this time. It makes me wonder if the Clinton campaign thought some new embarrassment of Hillary's was going to come out and they had Weiner distract us with this.
It's not that big a mystery if you simply embrace the idea that Bill and Anthony are just beards
Beards who are allowed to pursue their own happiness, the perfect wives for them.
Donald Trump's sexual and marital relationships have been so proper we just don't even speak of them, too boring I guess.
Safe sex. So is jacking off in a porn theater under a soiled raincoat.
The career of Anthony Weiner convinces me it's high time for a Tavi Driver remake.
You talkin' to me?
"I'd say the third time is the modern psychological novel — inviting us to explore the complications of a modern marriage."
That time when we worked out all our complication via the untimely death of Harambe.
The theme song for this post is Private Life by Grace Jones.
Donald Trump's sexual and marital relationships have been so proper we just don't even speak of them, too boring I guess.
Well, he is not big on forcible rape, like Bill, so he doesn't get your panties wet, I guess, Unknown.
Yeah, Trump's base loves him hard.
Maybe Huma is a bitch.
House of cards, anyone?
Tim in Vermont, Ivana spoke of being raped or feeling violated from rough sex during Trump's first marriage, however she later recanted... For her own reasons.
Actually this could be a plus for HRC if Huma decided to take time off for personal reasons (either saving her marriage or divorcing the dick she's married to). That creates a diversion from the email scandal especially if Huma were portrayed in an unfavorable light in new emails. HRC could then shift blame to Huma and humanely bring her back into the fold after the election.
I don't see how anyone could feel sympathy for his wife at this point--clearly she knows what he's about and that that's never going to change, and she stays with him. Obviously, none of this is enough of a problem for her, so why should we even be interested in it?
Some husbands drink too much beer, some watch too much TV, and some can't hold down a job. Her husband happens to like to send penis pictures to other women. It's his anti-drug, and Huma considers this something she can live with.
Two "powerful" women who have men in their lives who seem to have little desire to do anything sexual with them at all.
Nothing suspicious about this at all.
Donald Trump's sexual and marital relationships have been so proper we just don't even speak of them, too boring I guess.
Trump texted another woman, not in his family, with his kid in his lap?
"Feeling violated" verses found by a friend in a hotel room after a man she didn't personally know just left, bleeding from the lip and with torn panty hose.
You know the best part of the whole thing? Because Broaddrick had once by hit in the mouth by her husband, the Clintons said that she couldn't be believed! That her husband must have done it again and she lied about it!
That kind of defense would work in Saudi Arabia, or before a jury of Democrats in the US if it was a Democrat accused, but in America in 2016? Really? Are we taking that as "strong evidence" that Juanita was lying, as has been claimed by so many feminists?
It's his anti-drug, and Huma considers this something she can live with.
...or her marriage is a total sham.
Just saying, it's not a thoroughly implausible scenario.
Regular fare at the DNC Cafe these days: Weiners in hot water.
I think some guys have taped me while we were doing it. Now there is probably a video of me on xtube or pornhub. I hope the reviews are kind.
In today's hyper-connected modern world we want pictures or even videos.
And lots of them before we make the plunge into hooking. Then there is the time waiting in the PH and receive the text "here". Before that "here" text there are many OMW, how long, I am horny, take me, fuck me hard, show me another dic pic-I want to see another ass pic, not the same one you sent me.
It is very carnal and hot.
tits.
"If a husband hits his wife, it must be her fault and nothing she ever says can be believed." - The Democrats of Today
Huma appears to be an absent mother.
Leaving her young son in the unsupervised care of Anthony Weiner is child endangerment.
That is the complication of a very modern marriage.

I am stunned that they have never discussed what she was wearing.
Girls can blow a passed out guy and the GUY is the one who committed rape....but Bill is so pure he must be believed, no matter how implausible it is.
Good job, feminists. Are y'all hoping to halve the already tiny number of young women and men who identify with you?
Tim in Vermont, Ivana spoke of being raped or feeling violated from rough sex during Trump's first marriage, however she later recanted... For her own reasons.
Juanita has never recanted --- so she's CLEARLY lying.
Ivana also was cheated on by her husband. So was Marla Mapels.
"If a husband hits his wife, it must be her fault and nothing she ever says can be believed." - The Democrats of Today
They will next demand the testimony of 4 witnesses to overcome the testimony of a Democrat.
Ivana also was cheated on by her husband. So was Marla Mapels.
And they left him.
Hillary is too much of a door mat.
FEMINISM!!!
Clearly, Carlos Danger enjoys flirting with risk.
But this is an example of Icarus flying too close to the son!
"...or her marriage is a total sham."
I'd say it's a sham, but I'm not sure what she gets out of being married to him. She's got access to Clinton cash and power, and he's a disgraced former congressman who cannot get elected to anything ever again. She certainly couldn't be with him for his looks or his personality. And at this point, she can't even say it's what's best for the kids when the kids are caught up in the sexting pictures.
It's a very twisted group.

They think being married makes the profoundly fucking weird Huma and Hillary seem "human". Instead, they seem even weirder because, again, they are "powerful" women who are the biggest doormats to their men I've seen in my life.
I don't know any woman who would tolerate what they do.
And feminists fucking CHAMPION this.
Damikesc,
No, Trump dumped them after he cheated on them, they didn't leave him from what I've read.
Honestly, can you think of people more weird than Huma and Hillary? Profoundly weird folks. Nixon seemed more relaxed and at ease. If I learned they were aliens pretending to be human, I'd be less than shocked.
No, Trump dumped them after he cheated on them, they didn't leave him from what I've read.
...because they wouldn't sit there and be doormats.
Every woman I know in my life is more powerful than Hillary and Huma. Every. Single. One.
"They think being married makes the profoundly fucking weird Huma and Hillary seem "human". "
If Weiner is just a beard, then time to trade him in for some non-entity who at least has the benefit of not continuously sexting other women.
There's something strange about a woman who chooses to continuously endure that. And she may be our next president's closest adviser.
I didn't know rhhardin was a Democrat
I am just quoting Slate's possible explanation for Juanita' bloody lip that a feminist recently said was "strong evidence" in Bill's favor. It has nothing to do with some blog commenter any more that the impeachment was about a consensual blow job.
Pedantic aside: The "history repeats itself, the first time as" version of the Marx quote bugs me. History only repeats once. He did not say, and would not have said, that history "repeats" itself first as tragedy, nor did he mean to imply that certain striking events occur three times -- the original event plus the two repeats. The butchered English version, with the tragedy being the first occurrence and repeat, makes no sense.
And common translations (linked by AA) avoid the usual twist: "Hegel remarks somewhere that all great world-historic facts and personages appear, so to speak, twice. He forgot to add: the first time as tragedy, the second time as farce."
Hillary never left him because he was her ticket to power. Would the Democrats in New York State have cleared the field for her Senate run if she had divorced Bill? Highly unlikely, she would be a turncoat. Would they have cleared the field for some lady lawyer from Little Rock who had never been married to a president? Not on your life.
Hillary's entire political life depended on her taking all the shit Bill threw at her.
You think feminist Democrat and liberal women don't get divorces because their husbands cheated on them? LOL! I'd say that is a feature of the religious right, remember Mr.and Mrs. Josh Duggar? Didn't Duggar work for the Family Research Council?
Althouse wrote: But we still read "Anna Karenina" and "Madame Bovary" and all the rest of the modern novels.
Do we? You may be right, and it may explain a lot of otherwise inexplicable time wasting in our culture. One would think a Tolstoy could move his characters through a plot with something more provocative than fricking idiocy. This may be why I prefer Pushkin to Tolstoy and Anatole France to Flaubert. Madam Bovary is lukewarm tea compared to the gut slamming' rye of Les dieux ont soif.
Anthony Weiner is the WMD of the class of tedious persons in the news. He probably indulges in that puerile "hobby" because it makes him slightly more interesting than a potheaded slacker addicted to daytime television.
They are filming a Chappaquiddick movie in Malden, I think. I can't wait to see how Hollywood treats the lovable rogue, Teddy Kennedy!
"And when I returned... Mary Joe and the car were gone... Go Red Sawx!"
You think feminist Democrat and liberal women don't get divorces because their husbands cheated on them? LOL! I'd say that is a feature of the religious right, remember Mr.and Mrs. Josh Duggar? Didn't Duggar work for the Family Research Council?
Right, and you view Josh Duggar as a hypocrite, but Hillary is supposed to be some kind of feminist heroine, isn't she? Yet she continues to stay married to a rapist and serial sexual harasser of Democratic women who were drawn from a pool of his supporters. So sure, many Democrats and liberal women divorce scumbag husbands like Bill and Tony, just not these two power grasping ones.
"Hegel remarks somewhere that all great world-historic facts and personages appear, so to speak, twice. He forgot to add: the first time as tragedy, the second time as farce."
Lumpen farce.
Marx might have reason to question his own dictum given that the history of communism tends to reverse the dialectic, with miserable farce leading to bloody tragedy.
@ Brando
There's something strange about a woman who chooses to continuously endure that. And she may be our next president's closest adviser.
Yep.
Hillary endured Bill for obvious reasons. Power. What does Carlos bring? He was a wonderful loud mouth and rising star... Poised to be the mayor of New York.
LOL - and he trashed it assuming he could be the next Bill Clinton.
This is why sympathetic rehabilitation films are made. Isn't he adorable? It's just his way. Time for another movie.... (Already?)
"You think feminist Democrat and liberal women don't get divorces because their husbands cheated on them? LOL! I'd say that is a feature of the religious right, remember Mr.and Mrs. Josh Duggar? Didn't Duggar work for the Family Research Council?"
You convinced me. I will definitely not vote for the Duggars.
Hillary and Huma sitting in a tree, sacrificing women and girls for their greater good. I wonder if Bill and Anthony were the cause or effect of female chauvinism.
"Honestly, can you think of people more weird than Huma and Hillary"
Trump hands down. Tweets about how black people are going to "VOTE TRUMP" now that Dwayne Wade's cousin was gunned down in the street by fellow blacks. His reasoning being that he pointed out black on black crime....as if blacks didn't already know about the phenomenon. Not included in that tweet, a comment about sympathy for the victim's children or family. Now that is weird.
Brando said..."You convinced me. I will definitely not vote for the Duggars"
Well it's a good thing he isn't running for office, I think he would have a chance of winning with a certain group of conservatives. Look at Governor, now Senator Mark Sanford. The people of SC didn't seem to mind that he cheated on his wife.
@ Tim in Vermont.
Right, and you view Josh Duggar as a hypocrite, but Hillary is supposed to be some kind of feminist heroine, isn't she? Yet she continues to stay married to a rapist and serial sexual harasser of Democratic women ...
Democrat women really don't care about all that rape and hypocrisy within their own camp. It's for the greater good. Corruption and power (D).
Weiner is probably thinking that he set too low a price to enter into a fake relationship to allow Huma to get close to the reigns of US power for the Muslim Brotherhood. And he's probably figured out where the first bullet will land, when the people he made a deal with are out of power.
Black people ARE going to vote Trump--I've met quite a few who said they would. Something about those people staying in their own countries and not fucking up the system here.
Wrong Unknown(D) - The Duggers would get nowhere. Yet you have endless forgiveness and tolerance for rape and corruption within your own camp.
Hypocrite.
.
The people of SC are very forgiving, look at the current Governor Nikki Haley, who was named in a divorce case as "the other woman". I believe she's still married to the man she cheated on.
Weiner's parents played a cruel joke on their son (and us) by naming him Anthony, a name with a certain panache that applies to the erstwhile "Carlos" only in its notable incongruity. The fercockt momzer is a born Feivel if there was one.
Clearly, Carlos Danger enjoys flirting with risk.
There's something strange about a woman who chooses to continuously endure that. And she may be our next president's closest adviser.
When the rules and of society and their consequences don't apply to you it's exciting to flaunt it. You always want to flaunt it. Banal rule following behavior feels disturbingly wrong.

It's a dumb idea because if "all great world-historic facts and personages" appear twice, they'll appear dozens/hundreds/thousands of times over hundreds or thousands of years, and the authors of that nonsense are not looking at the first and second occurrences of anything, they're looking at the 12th and 13th, or the 101st and 102nd (to throw in some arbitrary numbers).
They might as well have said: the 14th time is tragedy, the 15th time is farce.
Huma was raised by a very religious muslim family in Saudi Arabia. A country where women are required to swathe themselves head to toe because the sight of an ankle can drive a male into an uncontrollable sexual frenzy. As an adult she has been mentored by Hillary. Men have no sexual control has been the message her entire life. Why should her husband be different.
Wife cheaters, most of who are still married, some to the women they cheated with.
1. Pete Domenici (Senator, R-N.M.)
2. Larry Craig (Senator, R-Idaho)
3. Speaker Newt Gingrich (R-Ga.)
4. Rep. Dan Burton (R-Ind.
5. Rep. Henry Hyde (R-Ill.)
6. Rep. Robert Livingston (R-La.)
7. Rep. Bob Barr (R-Ga.)
Any of them running for president as a feminist icon?
Unknown - Bill Clinton is still a rapist. What is your point?
Another Republican who didn't keep her marriage vows sacred, tsk, tsk.
With her poll numbers cratering, Carly Fiorina opted to use her opening statement in the GOP debate last week to sling mud at the Clinton marriage. “Unlike another woman in this race,” Fiorina said, “I actually love spending time with my husband.” We have to take Carly’s word for it that she loves spending time with her husband, Frank, however it would be surprising to learn that she has inside dope on whether Bill and Hillary love to spend time together.
But Carly has not always been a loving spouse. Her first husband, Todd Bartlem, has said that it was Carly’s affair with Frank Fiorina, then a divorced business executive, that broke up their marriage.
We are talking about a husband who has been credibly accused of forcible rape and many other sexual assaults here. His defense against one of the charges of rape is that her husband must have beaten her, because she is damaged goods. Hillary aided and abetted this defense, as well as many "nuts and sluts" charges against Bill's many victims.
Her husband cost the couple almost a million dollars in a payoff of one sexual harassment lawsuit. Still, she stands by her man.
But you would rather just call it all cheating, as if it were all completely consensual. If I thought that he had the same number, but of "affairs" that were consensual, I wouldn't even give it a second thought.
But as ever, the Clinton trolls seek to change the subject.
Unknown - Bill Clinton is still a rapist. What is your point?
It's "forcible rape" you are looking for Unknown. And then a full throated defense of the rapist by the candidate. If you are trying to find some equivalent. Plus a long history of defense of sexual harassment and sexual assault of political supporters by the spouse.. Hillary said that the evidence showed Broaddrick was a liar. The evidence showed no such thing.
Weiner's wiener
I never noticed they were spelled differently...D'oh!
@TimInVermont
You said "Beat Rice". heh.
Let's not forget about that other New Yorker, Rudi Giuliani.
I was looking politicians who cheated on their spouses Tim in Vermont.
Unknown, there is LITERALLY no evidence of any affair involving Haley. And Jenny Sanford moved out of the governor's mansion after he cheated.
But nice attempt to attack Nikki.
"No, Trump dumped them after he cheated on them, they didn't leave him from what I've read."
The voters are going to vote for Trump because of his position on the issues, its the snobbish Republican elites who are having a hissy fit based on their feeling that Trump is crude and has had trophy wives.
To be fair, I get the sense she is probably a harpy of a wife. Who wouldn't want to cheat on her? Particularly with some beautiful woman who admires you (or at least pretends to).
No reasoning why Hillary and Huma are such doormats that they accept this?
Their marriage is far from modern.
List of politicians who take photos of their bulging wieners?
I was looking politicians who cheated on their spouses Tim in Vermont - Unknown
And I was saying it's not the same thing. I don't give a shit if Donald Trump cheated on his wife, or she cheated on him. Or if Bill cheated on Hillary. If it was only about cases like Gennifer Flowers, I wouldn't give a shit, as I have said multiple times. I don't even care if Hillary is a lesbian. I have had a couple good friends who were lesbians in my life, I don't think its disqualifying. It's Hillary's enablement of Bill's history of sexual assault that is the issue.
Speaking of Cheaters, don't forget Joe and Mika. They are a perfect match. But Scarbrough will find him a much better woman soon. Everyday there is a new Morning Joe.
My beef is that I have zero faith in a woman who allows her significant other to walk all over them will develop a backbone and not allow others to do the same.
What a scumbag. Sexting must be ok in their marriage. Huma figures it's better than prostitutes.
FYI, I'm not defending Wierner's weiner pics of himself, or any woman who stays with her cheating husband. I'm pointing out (to those slow on the uptake), that it's not only Democrats who cheat, of stay with their spouses after they are caught cheating. Mrs. Duggar and Mr.Haley and others (in my list @9:18) are examples of cheating husbands and spouses staying with their cheating husbands.
I finally read the NYP article. The poor schmuck was outed by a Trump supporter/operative that the dummy had been internet intimate with since last January.
Entertainment, thy name is Donald Trump.
I don't think for a minute that Clinton has no backbone. She stayed with her husband for other reasons in my estimation. I don't agree with her decision, she should've divorced him, but she isn't alone in women who stay with cheating husbands, and most of them are NOT liberals, Democrats, or feminists. It's the right that espouses family values, marriage and not getting divorces. Well, they used to anyway.
Disraeli, when younger, wore some extreme outfits that Oscar Wilde later consciously chose to emulate. Disraeli had a succession of private secretaries who were exceedingly handsome young men. Nothing was ever proven but most of his contemporaries assumed he was gay. Gladstone, his political rival, used to pay prostitutes in order to preach to them about their fallen status and then go home and flagellate himself. Could it be that Victorians were more tolerant of sexual deviance than us?
I give Weiner credit for being a pioneer in a brand new area of sexual perversion. It's always the pioneers who catch the arrows. He's the first textohibitionist, but he won't be the last. Later generations will look upon him the way we look upon Oscar Wilde.
I've read that there are a certain number of people who like to dress up as stuffed animals while having sex. They're called furries. If it came out that Mike Pence or Tim Caine were furries, would that influence your vote?
Breaking news, Huma is separating from her Weiner. I hope she means she's working on a divorce, not her marriage.
Very few people fantasize about having sex in the missionary position with an age appropriate partner, yet this is what we demand from our elected officials. Sometimes public office demands too much.
The similarities between the Clinton and Weiner-Abedin marriages are creepy.
Does Huma admire Hillary to the point where she too is willing to face public humiliation over the sexual behavior of their husbands?
It all makes sense when you realize that she is only with him so that she can have a beard to hide her true relationship. His end of the deal is that he gets fame and power and all the poon he can sniff -- on one condition, that he doesn't get caught by outsiders. He broke the deal 3 times now, so that's too much.
This is the same deal the Clintons have with each other, but there the man had more power, and of course the plan kind of bombed there too. You'd think they'd realize even having the media on your side can only buy you so much leeway.
I wonder if Child Protective Services have visited the home yet.
Remember it was Andrew Breitbart who took down Anthony Weiner in the first sexting scandal. His site is now front and center in the bogus Alt-Right attacks launched by Hillary's campaign. They go so far as to say Breitbart may not have the right to exist.
Why? So these crooks can just do whatever they want without getting checked?
It's coming you know if she wins. There will be an serious effort to silence and criticism. The Democrats and Global Elites want full control of the media and information deemed acceptable for distribution.
They're nuts.
Cheating spouses - If they are R's, it is unforgivable.
Raping Democrats - All cool.

Breaking news, Huma is separating from her Weiner.
This was somewhat predictable. She was staying with him for the child. He exposed the child in a completely inappropriate way. He was gone.
The Daily Mail has pictures of last night's fundraiser in the Hamptons. Huma went in smiling but didn't come out. And Hillary was wearing that hideous housecoat outfit again.
I kinda thought the first time was just as farcical as the second and, now, third. Tolstoy and Flaubert this ain't. Whatever the reason for this peculiar marriage, it doesn't seem to be working out as arranged.
April Apple,
It's up to the spouses if they want to forgive them or not, not me, not you. I'd say divorce their ass.
Staying together would be best for the son, but not for the Huma career, she figures.
I'm really surprised by the commenters here responding as though this were a typical marriage instead of a power merger that went awry because one of the merged entities couldn't stick to the rules. I thought you guys were more sophisticated than that. This was never a normal marriage from day 1, and everyone involved knew it.
This all could have been avoided after the first disclosure (ahem) if Huma had insisted that Anthony/Carlos switch to a flip phone without a camera.
"Staying together would be best for the son..."
Staying together would most definitely NOT be best for their son. People here were bashing her for not getting a divorce from the Weiner, now you have rhhardin here saying she should stay in the marriage, weird. When a man is sexting in bed with his son next to him. It's time to get rid of the dick, she should've gotten rid of him long ago.
Still have that 'soft spot', Ann?
--------
@William Disraeli, when younger, wore some extreme outfits that Oscar Wilde later consciously chose to emulate. Disraeli had a succession of private secretaries who were exceedingly handsome young men. Nothing was ever proven but most of his contemporaries assumed he was gay.
I have read at least a dozen biographies of Disraeli. While he was flamboyant in dress and in personality, there is zero evidence he was gay. Neither did 'most of his contemporaries' believe so.
Drudge has that Huma is separating from Weiner, for the benefit of her son. Something like that. I think that she is a very dangerous woman, and at least part of why the Administration went so pro-Muslim, and, in particular part of why we pushed the Muslim Brotherhood into power in Egypt (her parents were closely allied with that organization, as is the journal that her father helped found, and her mother and brothers continue to run). But, it was about time for her to dump Weiner. Leaving him an unemployed house father taking care of their son, so she could jet around the country with Crooked Hillary was just not going to work, long term.
Bruce, Reuters has a similar headline as of 3 minutes ago.
Blogger Crazy Jane said..."This all could have been avoided after the first disclosure (ahem) if Huma had insisted that Anthony/Carlos switch to a flip phone without a camera."
You have to be kidding. He'd be on Skype and/or Google Hang-outs on a PC, tablet or Chromebook in less than a minute. And believe me, he would let it all hang-out.
@mockturtle: I have only read the Weintraub biography. It was sympathetic to Disraeli, but, iirc, it did indicate that his contemporaries speculated uncharitably about why all his secretaries were such handsome young men. Although nothing has ever been established, this might be more a testament to Disraeli's discretion than to his heterosexuality.........Just curious. Why would you want to read twelve biographies of Disraeli.
Dugger is not a candidate for office and Haley committed no infidelity.
Try and do better.
I don't think for a minute that Clinton has no backbone. She stayed with her husband for other reasons in my estimation.
That reason is...?
I mean, besides FEMINISM~!
It's the right that espouses family values, marriage and not getting divorces. Well, they used to anyway.
Not getting pointless ones, no. If you're abused or you've been cheated on, you're a pathetic loser if you stay.
Just curious. Why would you want to read twelve biographies of Disraeli.
I began reading about Disraeli when I was in high school. Like Churchill, he was not only an effective Prime Minister and gifted orator but was extraordinarily witty and exceedingly wise. I've always been fascinated by both of these guys and read everything available about them.
He clearly didn't want to be married to Huma but was too weak to leave. Including the child in the photo made it impossible for her to stay.
Just look in Huma'eyes: darkened and sad. She looks like the poster gal for sexual masochists. Probably not all that uncommon for Muslim women. How else could she remain Clinton's faithful little puppy?
Damikesc, seriously?
Clinton sat through 11 hours of grilling in the Benghazi hearing and made her inquisitors look like fools, you want to think this woman isn't' tough? She's got more balls than many men.

Then she and Huma should come out of the closet already, if she's so brave and all...
"I have read at least a dozen biographies of Disraeli. While he was flamboyant in dress and in personality, there is zero evidence he was gay. Neither did 'most of his contemporaries' believe so."
He was married to an older woman which is another reason to think he might have been gay.
"Ambitious, precocious and determined, Disraeli endured remorseless antisemitism to edge his way forward in Victorian society. There are also suggestions he was bullied at school for latent homosexuality, an idea supported by his account of boyhood friendship in his early novels. Like many young Englishmen growing up in the 1820s, Disraeli idolised Byron as poet, style icon, sexual pioneer, freedom fighter and romantic hero. He was also obsessed with his sister, Sarah Disraeli. For this “beloved” he cherished, as he put it, a “pure and perfect love”."

Dreams: Projection, perhaps?
The English public school experience uncannily mirrored that of the prison yard: cold baths, bad food, constant bullying. Those damn things were perversion mills.
Disraeli is a sympathetic figure, and he got some things right. On most issues, I would give Gladstone the nod, however. Disraeli was witty and clever, but there's an overlay of cynicism that is off putting........Who knew that a discussion of Weiner would lead to a discussion of Disraeli's merits.......Say this in Disraeli's favor: if he was, in fact, a closet homosexual and and managed to be so without causing public scandal, it gives testimony to his discretion and discretion, and that would make him more, not less, of a reliable, trustworthy statesman.
The English public school experience uncannily mirrored that of the prison yard: cold baths, bad food, constant bullying. Those damn things were perversion mills.
By 'public schools', I assume you mean in the British sense. Churchill writes of truly nightmarish experiences when, at the tender age of eight, he was sent away to school. But look at the remarkable survivors of these schools! Some would say genetics are the determinants but I think there are advantages to this kind of rigor [I certainly don't advocate boarding school at eight] in formation of character. Boys today are coddled.
William, I admire Gladstone's character as much as I admire Disraeli's wit.
My favorite attributed Disraeli retort:
William Gladstone: You sir, shall either die of hanging, or from the pox.
Benjamin Disraeli: That all depends, sir, whether I embrace your politics or your mistress.
"Not included in that tweet, a comment about sympathy for the victim's children or family. Now that is weird."
Yeah. How DARE Trump take a page out of the left's playbook and politicize a gun-related death.
Clinton sat through 11 hours of grilling in the Benghazi hearing and made her inquisitors look like fools, you want to think this woman isn't' tough?
Lying, for her, is easy. The truth tends to be rough. She's a doormat. A woman who has power SOLELY because she conned some hillbilly into marrying her.
She's got more balls than many men.
No man, outside of Obama, could get elected with a record as abysmal as hers. She has the anti-Midas touch.
So, again, why did Hillary remain married to Bill? You said other reasons...what are those reasons?

@mockturtle: I'm saddened to report that the exchange you quoted above is aprochyful. The earliest known citation of the quote is between Samuel Foote and Lord Sandwich. Disraeli, like Churchill and Mark Twain, gets credited for saying a lot of things he never actually said......Here's something Jenny Churchill said about Disraeli: "When I was seated next to Gladstone at dinner, I thought he was the cleverest man in England. When I was seated next to Disraeli, I thought I was the cleverest woman in England."
William, I did say 'attributed to'.;-) Whoever said it, I like it. And what about this? When asked the difference between a misfortune and a calamity, Disraeli said:
"The difference between a misfortune and a calamity is this: If Gladstone fell into the Thames, it would be a misfortune. But if someone dragged him out again, that would be a calamity."

You're addressing someone with the perspicacity of a doorknob. Sisyphus could give you some guidance here.
I note that after all these years there are at least two women here who are still drawn to the Disraeli mystique. Iirc, Disraeli was on the wrong side of the Corn Laws, Home Rule for Ireland, independence of the Balkan states from Ottoman rule, and extended suffrage for the males of England. Gladstone was on the right side of these issues. Makes no difference. Gladstone had mutton chop whiskers and an unpalatable sex life so no groupies for him.........Maybe that's Weiner's ultimate problem. JFK, Ted Kennedy, and Bill Clinton survived worse scandals with their reputations intact. Maybe Weiner is insufficiently cute to survive a sex scandal. If Weiner looked like Brad Pitt, even Republican women would be saying no big deal about the scandal.
A homonym double entendre. How often does that happen in the wild?
GOD BLESS THE DAY THE MAN THAT HELP ME GET MY EX HUSBAND BACK
Hello my name is MARY KATHY FROM U A E . i just want to share my experience and testimony here.. i was married for 6 years to my husband and all of a sudden, another woman came into the picture.. he started hailing me and he was abusive..but i still loved him with all my heart and wanted him at all cost…then he filed for divorce..my whole life was turning apart and i didn’t know what to do..he moved out of the house and abandoned the kids.. so someone told me about trying spiritual means to get my husband back and introduced me to a spell caster…so i decided to try it reluctantly..although i didn’t believe in all those things… then when he did the special prayers and spell, after 2days, my husband came back and was pleading..he had realized his mistakes..i just couldn’t believe it.. anyways we are back together now and we are happy..in case anyone needs this man, his email address [ogumensolutioncenter@yahoo.com] spells is for a better life. again his email is [ogumensolutioncenter@yahoo.com] call him +2348112060028 and u can add him up in whatsapp:+2347064358629

WTF? You think it's some kind of sexual infatuation? I find neither Disraeli nor Churchill at all attractive. I didn't even like Disraeli's politics. He is an interesting person to read about. Politically, I agree that Gladstone was the better man. I have read several books about him, too. He was a Whig, as were most of my ancestors. Nothing NOT to like about Gladstone. If a woman reads about men, it could just be because men are the main shakers and movers of history, not because of some kind of girlish crush.
Oh, geez...some kind of witchcraft troll spammer now.
Also, William. I have read at least as many books about Elizabeth I, who is every bit as interesting as Disraeli.
Just when some folks kind of gave him a bit of a pass since he (allegedly) didn't consummate his lewd flirtations, he drags his already indirectly tarnished child into it...
@mockturtle: Sadly, you don't seem aware of the lusts contained in your own wanton heart. While Disraeli in his later years resembled a blighted horn toad, when younger, he was quite handsome. Plus, he wore yellow velvet pants, which women find nearly irresistible. I have no doubt that you would like nothing more than to sit on his lap and run your fingers through the ringlets of his hair while he read from his latest novel. But I assure you that if you beseech the grace of God and ask for His help in controlling your low, fallen nature, then He will listen and your world may yet be redeemed......I hope my words will help you to find that grace. Now, if you can excuse me, I must go to my room and take care of a private matter.
LOL! ;-) Speaking of grace, I've read several bios of Martin Luther, too.
