I didn't really understand that comment about unlocking. On further thought, I don't think a video with Lindsay Lohan would be the most lucrative way for Weiner to monetize his fame and sex appeal. Ann - you are missing the main issue here - this wasn't accidental. Weiner is the one who brings it up and sends the picture. That is extremely odd, and raises very difficult issues.
A medical professional or teacher who had become aware of this type of behavior - deliberate involvement of a child in a sexual context, plus imagery - would be bound to report it to the state's child protection agency.
What KIND OF PERSON WITH WHAT KIND OF EFFING KINK DELIBERATELY INTRODUCES AN IMAGE OF THEIR CHILD IN THEIR BED to a person with whom that person is conducting a sexual (if remote) courtship/transaction? It's all about politics - Huma is Hillary's Girl Friday, and Hillary doesn't need yet another creepy perv in the extended political family. Huma knows how to read the tea leaves, and if she wanted a senior position in the Clinton 2.0 White House, it was time to cut the Weiner.

I guess my point was that neither should be acceptable. Not from prudery or a lack of humor, but simply from the sane, common sense perspective that what kind of debased, moronic, fucknut does this shit, and why aren't we showering them with apple cores, stones, and dried dog turds and shunning them utterly?
I have an ex (heavy emphasis on EX) girlfriend (Vallery) who, in the pre-internet days, used to exchange sexually explicit messages with strangers on a messaging board (execpc) we both belonged to. Drove me nuts; Couldn't get her to stop doing it. At one point, thinking she was privately chatting with a woman in Hawaii, she not only sent nude photos of herself, but she sent her home address so the woman in Hawaii could send back nudes of herself. Problem was, it was a public forum! Imagine that, sending nudes of yourself, and your home address, via a public forum. Every creep in the world now knew what she looked like and where she lived.
My point is, there are people in the world who have this problem, and not all of them are men. It's some form of addiction, as in they cannot control themselves while this behavior ruins their lives. They quite literally do not see that they are doing anything wrong, that it is all harmless fun. It's just words and pictures! And if you don't like it, stop looking!
