Did folks see that thing a while back where Coulter had a debit card decline in a grocery store? I must be a weirdo, but I always think of that when her name comes up. Is she poor?
Has anyone confirmed the rumor that the first draft of the Iran deal was put together by gluing clipped newsprint to a sheet of paper, and wrapping the paper around a brick?
I heard another rumor that Obama emailed (cough) the Ayatollah RocknRolla to say that he would have more flexibility after the election. Or was that Medvedev? I get so confused.
It's a small world story. Our high school reunion committee (class of 1969) had a 65th birthday party for our class last night as most of our class will be 65 this year. Our school is east of Pittsburgh 20 miles or so. My spouse, who was not from our class, and I were talking to one of my class mates. He is and was a real free spirit type who currently lives in California.
As we were talking, he said he worked in a copper mine in San Manuel, Az in the early 70's. My wife wife at each other and laughed. My spouse, in her earlier free spirit days, also worked for the Magma Copper Company in San Manuel in the early 70's. The highlight of our evening re-living life in the copper mine.
Not necessarily. I once paid my son's traffic ticket in Chicago with my debit card, and the bank knew I wasn't in Chicago, so they shut down my card and I was declined at the supermarket that Saturday and had to use a credit card instead.
There was some ham contest last night; I spent a couple of hours with my coffee-cup sized transceiver and worked 69 guys in 30 states on 40m, something that took me years as a kid with ten times the power on exactly the same band.
Maybe it's that there weren't contests so often. That change is due to the internet. They can be set up easily, are well attended. The average contact length is ten seconds.
Inter-contact time is finding a station, waiting to get his call letters, check if you've worked him already, and match his frequency exactly, and logging him if you work him (California was hardest to raise). I'm not the fastest with this, owing to having to move the mouse and that moves it to block the telegraph key, as the desk is set up.
With contests you get to see where you can work quickly without having to think of pleasantries like you want to talk to the guy. And also if you're weak so the other guy is having to work at copying you, it's not for so long that you're a burden to him.
Oh 68 guys and one girl, Connie in Oklahoma. The ham sex ratio is strongly male.
Strangely I worked nobody in my own state, Ohio. That's called skip. The signal goes up and over everything nearby and first returns to earth a few hundred miles away.
Wilbur would suggest having one card for credit, like a MasterCard which is accepted everywhere, and use it to pay for nearly everything. Then pay it off every month, and accumulate points usable for gift cards for myself or gifts to others. The good people at Bank America will give you one of these cards for free. Obvious point: the key is to pay it off every month.
Also, the fewer cards in your name, the better your credit rating. Just go with one,
My mom has those flowers growing in her back yard. I like the contrast of the orange center and the purple flowers. I meant to ask her what they were when I was visiting her recently, but got sidetracked. What is their name?
Klavan recommended the noir film Body Heat as having nice witty dialogue, and he likes noir films as about society with no rules of right and wrong left.
So I get Body Heat and watch through the first exposure of Kathleen Turner tits, and she says "Nobody must know about this," a gossipy waitress having appeared earlier, and I click out.
Thanks but no thanks for obvious plot points.
Apparently when morals break down you get boring plots announced.
My apologies if it turns out to be interesting.
The same thing happens with the guy is disappointed and takes up heavy drinking. Stop fucking drinking, you idiot. I don't care to watch overacting of a drinking problem either.

Apparently Ann Coulter campaigned heartily for Nehlen today in Wisconsin. Think there's any chance at all?
I like Paul Ryan. Dislike DT. Loathe the Hildebeast.
Coulter's track record for backing winners hasn't been too successful.
Mock,
He's also got Palin and Schlafly.

Contests. Everybody sends the details to this guy and he posts them.
If there seems to be a contest, you find out the rules there.
Don't use debit cards. In case of a mistake or fraud, the bank holds the money while it's straightened out, which is not a good incentive.
Credit cards let you hold the money, so they're really helpful in clearing it up.

AKA Butterfly Bush. And the butterfly in this case is a Silver Spotted Skipper or a reasonablly close relative.
