When Americans talk about "Europe" it seems they generally mean France and Germany. Sometimes also England, and perhaps Italy and the Low Countries, if that is where the action that spurred the conversation occurred. All of this is Western Europe. But Europe extends east all the way to the Ural Mountains and south to the Middle East. There are a lot of quite European countries and even more peoples, whose lives and history are just about invisible to us.
I think the list of Heidi Cruz sins given by the Trump spokeswoman is plausible as what they had in mind for unloading on her, and unless proof to the contrary comes to light, I will accept that the Enquirer was a surprise, and not a welcome one, to them.
That Heidi Cruz was wheel, not just a receptionist, at Goldman-Sachs, always did seem a bit incongruous with Ted Cruz' campaign theme.
But then I am perhaps prejudiced. After listening to Barack Obama for 8 years, I do not want to listen to Ted Cruz for 4 more. I just do not like to be spoken to in that manner.
Went to an antiquarian book fair this afternoon. Found a book from 1913 called The Eugenic Marriage: A Personal Guide to the New Science of Better Living and Better Babies. Written by a doctor who advertised himself as being associated with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University on the frontispiece. From the introduction: "The eugenic ideal is a worthy race- a race of men and women physically and mentally capable of self support. The eugenist, therefore, demands that every child born shall be a worthy child- a child born of healthy, selected parents. No one can successfully assail the ethics of this appeal. It is morally a just contention to strive for a healthy race."
We don't call it "eugenics" anymore, and we don't use the word "race" (at least not out loud) but things haven't really changed. Now we use the words "choice" and "population." We just select the child, not the parents.
'Cuban Mistress Crisis" is how one site describes it. I dunno, couldn't we talk about more important stuff? Like the calf. Is it a boy or girl? Looks a bit peeved, like a couple minutes to let it fix its hair would matter...

I wrote letters last night instead of watching the game. It's too bad the Badgers lost. (Who doesn't like getting a letter in the mail? My elderly relatives love it)
I advocate that the ACC change its name. Or did they do it already, making the 'A' mean 'Any'?
A little late, but that tango in Rio was about the worst I have seen. You don't just walk the lady down the floor like that; you are supposed to glide. As for the "lady" herself - that is not how you dress for a tango, nor how you do it. This one must have watched the Argentine version of "Dancing with the Stars" or something.
And Obama did not have to do this; he could - and should - have just said "No!".

Cow appropriation?
That is some good-looking beef!
Nothing about Ted Cruz today? You one of his mistresses, Ms. Althouse?

I asked where are the cows next time and she casually said, oh they were probably taken to the slaughterhouse.
It's like Mariah Carey cancelling her concert in Brussels. If you react, then they have won. If you don't react, then maybe they go away.

I'll bet that cow was on private property and you violated her privacy rights.

Who knew Cruz was the last of the Latin lovers.
Nice beeves.
Eat Mor Chikin. Make Mor Chees. Seduze Mor Wimin.
Messed up, blew that game.
Sad!
They play some 'D' in the ACC.
So now we root for the Hoosiers!
Cows for Shandling?
Are those badgers?
I guess those student athletes can now go back to watching the coach earn millions from their unpaid labor.
Did Ted Cruz say today he would not copulate with the rat Trump?

If so, he would apparently be the only person Cruz wouldn't fuck.

If this perspective is adopted, we will be pretty much reduced to taking selfies.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3vV5jLoSmko uh oh... anonymous goes after Ted Cruz for his flings with... *ahem* prostitutes. enjoy!
Two regions where both teams are from the ACC.
