Tank, I have the same keyboard that you do, but I know what I want to write in Japanese. In fact, the Japanese use the good old Qwerty keyboard, writing the Japanese word in the Latin alphabet and then picking the correct Chinese characters and Japanese syllabary characters from a pop-up window. The pop-up window usually lists the different homonyms in order of probability. Your copy of Windows or OS can do this trick, and it's no worse than typing on a smart phone.

Cats make a different sound in Japan?
Hello pussy.
可愛い!
ddh has a different keyboard than Tank LOL.
Yeah, the Japanese get fun things like "cat day". We get endless talk about racism, sexism, PC and microaggressions.
Do Jap cats eat Ni Ni Ni Mix? I bet they love their cats since no grand children are around anymore as they age.
Reminds me of that annoying Purina Cat chow ad. Neow, Neow, Neow.
Nyan Cat
Funny, watching Room 222 always made me think of Karen Valentine's pussy.
