Gets a "Meh" from me. I think it's cause she's just sitting their petting dogs. I'd rather see it outside with her walking them or something.
What do Milk Bones taste like, I wonder? We had them for our dog (actually my brother's dog) when I was growing up but I never ate one. Thought about it a couple times, never did it though.
One the err..heels of the previous feminist work place skit..is she angling for a tv show? I'm trying to imagine a male prez candidate version of this..anthing been done?

The Cruz video of him doing Princess Bride, maybe? It was to show a softer side of him and a sense of humor.
That one worked for me. It felt more natural -- like they taped him through a bunch of sit-downs with small groups on the course of his normal campaigning and decided this one was worth releasing.
At the end of Carly and the puppies I still wasn't sure she actually likes dogs. It was scripted and heavily edited and they still left in a bunch of awkward moments.
Really? I just thought WTF! Everyone likes dogs. What is the point of this crap? She would do better to be taped chatting with the big wig that supposedly came around to thinking she ultimately did the right things in corps-world.
Hmmm...how wretched must our politics have become that a purportedly serious candidate for the nomination for the Presidency sits and recites inanities about dogs? And that people accept it and don't look askance at it?
I knew this was coming decades ago, when George Herbert Walker Bush was running and he made his famous Clint Eastwood-esque assertion, "Read My Lips: No New Taxes!" I was dismayed that such advertising-speak, little better than grunting for purposes of actual communication of information, had become accepted political rhetoric. (There were those in Bush's campaign team who wanted the phrase excised, but Roger Ailes, head of Fox News Network, strongly advised keeping it in.)
We've reach a nadir where such is now the norm. Shephard Fairey's "HOPE" poster for Obama was the visual equivalent of Bush's remark, or of this deplorable faux-whimsy from Fiorina, or of Trump's playing-for-the-punters barking...it is all noise and no signal.
'"Shephard Fairey's "HOPE" poster for Obama was the visual equivalent of Bush's remark"
Really? A specific policy position to potentially fall upon vs a vague emotion? No matter how you slice it..almost anyone would see those two as very different politics.
"Read my lips: No New Taxes" is not a specific policy position...it is a sound bite, a flash of tit for the paying customers, a sop to the base. He did raise taxes, so he didn't even implement this so-called policy position. Fairey's "HOPE" poster--and I do like Shepard Fairey's work--is just another flash of tit for the paying customers, a "Love is a Warm Puppy" poster for grown-up children. Obama, like Bush, betrayed that promise, and delivered neither hope nor change, but more and worse of the same.
The point: our political language today is debased to the level of smoke signals and grunts.

That was actually very cute, even the part about eating some dog's cousin. Doesn't enhance her credentials to be President though.
Nation's Dog Owners Demand To Know Who's A Good Boy
Carly is still being her uber seductive self. And she moves like a beautiful cat with most of her 9 lives left.
Presumably, hanging out with dogs is a strategy aimed at making her seem more likable.
She's likable enough.
Were I Bob Evans I might say "The Carley stays in the picture."
Bob Evans never was known for his spelling you see, cf. Carly.
Didn't quite work for me. Kept thinking "crazy woman with a lotta cats" -- except with dogs.
If she loves dogs, she might love us.
If she serves dogs well, she might serve us well.
There are dog people and cat people. Obama is neither, except at dinner time.
I am a dog person and would kill anyone who harmed my basset hound.
I like Carly. I love dogs. And this didn't work for me at all.
I wish I could put my finger on why...
Maybe it's just that her lines felt forced and she never seemed to just connect with one of the puppies.

But to her credit..at least she wasn't holding up pit bulls telling us how misunderstood they are..

The good thing about owning a cat, is that I never have to worry about 0bama eating it.
Meade, if Carly serves dogs well, does she go mostly with curry and a little lemon grass?
Using Britishisms such as "punters" makes you sound like a frigging wanker.
