Are the hunters up there required to use slugs like Michigan ?
Maybe you don't know.
It is illegal to "hunt deer with any ammunition loaded with shot other than a single slug or projectile."
A Wisconsin boy killed 2 deer with a single shot. It was the second shot the 10-year-old ever fired.
Were you wearing orange?
Used to be (40 years ago) southern Wisconsin was shotgun only, up north and central counties was rifle or shotgun. I don't know about now.

So many ills of life you can see how the propaganda crazed those not capable of seeing through it. But some things should be so internalized in humanity they should not be overcomable.

First, you have to think about the fact that it's deer season, which we didn't do until we heard the gunshot, at which point we were halfway into a four mile trail. Stupid, I know, but how do you think of what you don't think of.
Most places in WI you can use rifles now.
