Global Warming strikes again. There was only calm and peaceful air over kite Utopia before the CO2 went content from 3 parts per million to 4 parts per million.
At first, I imagined this as a gigantic mutant bird, a worthy foe of Godzilla.....
They made fun of that kind of newswriting back on the old Mary Tyler Moore show.
Seems things have gotten even worse since then.
Those are militarized kites.
It seems to me that if you have enough technological know how to launch a 1500 lb kite skyward, then you should have enough technological know how to fly it in such a way as to not cause mass casualties. Maybe next year they'll iron out the kinks.
