At the time, I said:Now, obviously, these are people pushing Hillary's candidacy, and they're trying to intimidate and manipulate the media. The media can't let this cow them. That would be incredibly lame, and in fact, I think that if a female President can command that kind of privilege over speech, we'd better not have a female President. I don't want a politician that we're not free to kick around. That's dangerous!
But that's no reason to abandon the project watching for coded sexism in language. That's the reason to look not only for sexism — and racism — but for political interest. We shouldn't take statements at face value. That would be naive. There's a lot going on in language, and we ought to take a closer look at everything... including what Hillary and her people say about other women... words like "narcissistic" and "loony toon."

The contrast that best exposes coordinated Hillary Spin is a charmingly real lady named Carly Fiorina. The Dems are really mad at her.

While Carly Fiorina has private sector experience, it unfortunately consists of two disasters.
I'll grant that running Lucent at a time of major transition in the telephone switching business (from circuit switched to packet switched services like ATM) was challenging, at best, and not all the old main line technology telephone suppliers survived, but she failed the test of managing the technology transition.
Her second act came at HP, and ultimately she was fired by HP's board. Again, this was a time of transition at HP, as it had to decide whether it was an instrument company, a computer service company, a computer company serving industry or a retail computer and printer company. But, again, she failed at that.
I'm uncomfortable with Carley Fiorina as a potential candidate with a 0-2 record of success in a stressful business environment. Being president is challenging under the best of circumstances and trying to fix Obama's mistakes multiplies that challenge.
At the moment, I'm still trying to decide who to support of announced and likely Rep. candidates.

We already do. Presidents and Presidential candidates have been likened to apes since at least Lincoln and probably before, and all the way up through President Bush II. Guess what happened, though, when someone used the word in reference to Obama? Yep. "RACIST RACIST RACIST!!!!"
When I pointed this out on a leftist blog I was told in all seriousness that since Obama was black he had to be treated differently than other Presidents and Presidential candidates.

Team Hillary! is trying to use a 1980s era propaganda campaign in the internet age for a woman who is the poster child of the Entitled, Wealthy, White Woman. She is way past her expiration date.
She would not have had a successful political career had she not had Bill Clinton as a husband. The entire reason she uses "Hillary!" as a campaign slogan is due to that salient fact.

There are plenty of women who are not incompetent, corrupt, lying POS. None of them are running.
When you say women are "bossy", that's sexist.
When the Clintons call women "bimbos" or "nuts and sluts", that's not.

In an inevitably polarizing move, Clinton supporters, calculating that it will reduce criticism of their candidate, have taken the ambitious step of preemptively banning the insincere use of a round dozen words and phrases. Are they over-confident, or just out of touch with the era of twitter and instagram, when ordinary people feel entitled to post their every thought and feeling? Such censorship represents the past, and seems disingenous from a secretive campaign that will do and say anything to win.
But that’s just my opinion.
I think someone could do a better job of that -- perhaps a contest is in order?

It's hard to believe that if a woman president is so inevitable this time around that the "force" hasn't dragged at least one woman out to contest Hillary. I can more readily understand it on the Dem side because they have few to run. On the Rep side there are many attractive, proven potentials (Martinez, Hale, Ayotte) that seem to be no more remote possibilities that Rubio or Paul.
While the media loves to slime all GOP candidates, they are particularly vicious to women and minorities, regarding them as traitors and/or apostates. Frankly it's shocking that any woman would sign up for that sort of abuse.

Thinking about this, it might make more sense for the GOP to hold their fire a bit on Hillary for the rest of 2015, and instead focus on expanding public support for their pet issues and for their candidates to build up their favorables as well as expand support among key voter blocks (particularly Hispanics). Because I somehow doubt the Left will just sit idly by while Hillary remains the "inevitable" candidate of the Democrats--the Left seems to only come to her defense when she's attacked from the Right, but on her own--and with no other viable Democrats in the race--the Left will bore and tire of her, and the sniping will begin, either forcing her to tack left (jeopardizing her general election race) or to drain enthusiasm from the Left, even prompting a third party candidacy.
Attacking Hillary hard right now, though, might unite the Democrats behind her without them really taking the time to think about whether they want her--and it also might make the voters tire of Hillary-bashing by late 2016.
Does anyone think that these posters were put up in NYC & Las Vegas by "righties"? I don't think so. I think this is an attack on HRC from the left. There are many in the Democratic Party & further left that have no use for the Clintons, and see her "coronation" without any challenge as a sell-out to Wall Street money (she is from NYC, after all).
