Governor Jindal and the state legislature remind James Carville of "2 over-sexed teenagers dry humping in a backseat of car parked behind a levee wondering how far they can go while maintaining their purity or virginity."

"We are literally at the mercy of buffoons and comedians."

Now how did I know that came from Carville? That man is a master of ridicule.

PB म्हणाले...

Carville is an expert on the purity of corruption.

Nonapod म्हणाले...

Carville certainly seems very eager to pay more taxes. Perhaps he should donate his salary to the state, that'd show those mean old Republicans whose really more "pure".

Dale म्हणाले...

Why does Carville sound like he has personal experience with his analogy?

mccullough म्हणाले...

Backseat, blue jeans, frottage causes red penis and blue balls. I don't recommend it

I'm not a fan of politicians who pledge never to do something.

The real world demands flexibility.

The only pledge should be: If I raise taxes, I will also cut the size of the Government.

So I am scantily consistent in this post.

wendybar म्हणाले...

hmmmm...figures a Clinton slave would talk about sex in the back of a car.....seems like he would know a lot about that!!!

Wince म्हणाले...

And I suppose analogizing Carville to a sex offender who wants to fuck the taxpayers up the ass at gun point would be impolitic?

Writ Small म्हणाले...

That's one thing I failed to give Obama enough credit for: keeping Lanny Davis, Paul Begala and James Carville largely out of the news.

Looks like someone is auditioning for his old job.

From the article -

"The former operative for President Bill Clinton said ..."

Former? Well technically Bill is no longer president, and they did say Bill rather than Hillary so I guess that's correct. George Will was right. This bunch could find a loophole in a stop sign.

Paul म्हणाले...

So Serpenthead said that??

Considering he is a Democrat media prostitute, then it means nothing.

Ignore the buffoon.

Michael K म्हणाले...

I doubt Carville knows about the Canadian changes in tax laws.

You may remember your liberal friends threatening to move to Canada after George W. Bush was re-elected. But something surprising has happened in the last few years: Conservatives have fallen in love with Canada. The conservative journalist John Fund wrote in National Review this month that Canada is becoming “more American than America.”

And American companies are moving here.

Carville...yeah, you're hitting desperation levels here, Hillary. Planting questions in your "press conference" and STILL sucking that badly should be a big concern.

Kyzer SoSay म्हणाले...

Why does anyone give this man screen time? Aside from being a jackass mouthpiece with nothing interesting to say, he's got the ugliest male countenance I've ever laid eyes on.

Pity the girl who finds herself in a backseat with him.

Says the buffoon, trying to be funny.

If you aren't willing to use birth control, it's better than the alternatives.

When governments have hard limits on how much (and on what) they can spend, then "no new taxes" pledges are unnecessary. Otherwise, they can be "second best" solutions.

E.g., the state provides millions in "corporate welfare" to the owners of the New Orleans Saints football team, charging rent on the Mercedes-Benz Superdome that does not come near covering the cost of its construction and maintenance.

HRC is in deep trouble when one of her key surrogates is that crude.

iowan2 म्हणाले...

Louisiana Politics is famously corrupt. But I guess they are corrupt Democrats, that promise more of other peoples money(as long as they get a personal cut) so no foul.

Is it sinking in for anybody that the Dems are openly stealing from the people, but as long as they say the right thing, all is well? That even 2%, not to mention an overwhelming majority of Democrat voters accept Hillary is truly scary.....for our representative republic.

Rocketeer म्हणाले...

Strained, too-lengthy, faux-Southern sounding "analogies" are embarrassing on their own, but it turns out they're even more embarrassing coming from a putative Louisianan. Real Southern witticisms should be short, dead on, and either inherited or spontaneous.

It was clear to me it was written and practiced beforehand, repeatedly. I was on to the scriptedness of that mess like a duck on a junebug.

I'm sure outside of politics, Carville is probably a decent guy to have a drink with.

Curious George म्हणाले...

Hey Carville, you know what tax and spend states and the Federal government remind me of? A woman who thinks she is out on a date with a nice guy, whois roofied and then sodomized over and over and over, and then dumped half conscious on her front porch.

Mike (MJB Wolf) म्हणाले...

EMD, both Carville and Matalin gave a little talk to a trade group meeting I attended last year in New Orleans. As you'd expect he is funny and engaging and Ms. Matalin mostly played the straight-man to his rambling commentary. They are both pretty humorous and given their up-close view of American politics, insightful when they "pull back the curtain a little." Unfortunately, they didn't pull it back far enough. I'd really like to hang out with them in a no-holds-barred kind of discussion.

She seems to have Hillary pegged for what she is. James appeared to give lip-service to the Hillary-worship common to the old Clinton Inc. Team, but there was a twinkle in his eye that contradicted his kind words toward Hillary!

Carville and I were in undergrad school together at LSU. He was in the same fraternity as my roommate and doubles partner on the tennis team and was in our dorm room a lot visiting my freshman year. (until he later flunked out, heh). He was as big a raving asshole then as he is now.
Some things never change..

Only in government is "when you're spending more than you earn, cut spending" considered an insane and radical approach to financial stability.

BTW, there's no such thing as an over-sexed teenager. They're simply under-everything-else.

Sure, Carville's a sleazy little worm, but campaign season is more fun with him than without him.

Skeptical Voter म्हणाले...

Carville loves to talk dirty--gives him street cred as it were.

But what is Ol James exercised about--back there in the back seat of his 63 Chevy down by the levee?

Well it seems that the State of Louisiana has a budget deficit of $1.6 billion or so.

And Jindal---that low life scoundrel--decided to make some budget cuts instead of raising taxes to make up the shortfall.

Now that's "dry humping" in Carville's phrase. He'd rather that the governor and the legislature get down to business the way James knows how; increase taxes and giver the citizens of the state a real rogering--none of this dry hump stuff. That's the Carville progressive way

Reminds me of the old joke about the Louisian policeman coming up on one of those cars behind the levee and shining a flashlight in and asking "What are you kids doing in there?" They say "Nothing".

The cop says, "If you're doing nothing, the boy should get out of the car and let a real man in there!"

Carville and his tax and spend buddies are the real men in the joke.

Titus म्हणाले...

Both Jindal and Carville are gross.

Because both think they are somehow relevant.

"Only in government is "when you're spending more than you earn, cut spending"

Recently, I have begun listening to Dave Ramsey on the radio as Hugh Hewitt is no longer live in LA.

The calls he gets are interesting and are mostly (I haven't been listening long) from young families in "flyover country" who are getting their lives organized and out o debt.

I wonder if the "Elites" are even aware of these people and especially those in Washington DC ?

It's an interesting subset that has been endorsed by Megan McArdle who credits him with helping her get out of debt in the past.

I wonder how they vote ? No, I don't.

I am still holding out hope for a long HRC! email drama where the Clinton apologists get so scarce we're treated to a least a Sunday or two of a rabid, foaming at the mouth, eyes rolled back in his head Carville.

That's damn good TV!

Carville's only sex trick is washing off the lanolin when he's done. He's not baaaah-d at that.

Todd Roberson म्हणाले...

Sticking with the Carville theme: what does this guy do for money? Surely the quid from the Clinton era campaign management business has run out by now?

I can't imagaine Starbucks hiring him to run a cash register let alone anything - shall we say - more ambitious.

Maybe he an Alan Colmes have a "consultancy" or something? I don't get it ...

Humperdink म्हणाले...

I see Carville doubles as a professor at Tulane. Really?????

Bob R म्हणाले...

Being called a buffoon and a comedian by James Carville, we're talking Level 4 irony here.

Unknown म्हणाले...
