His lawyer went on to say that Suge accidentally hit the guys while he was trying to get away from other guys who were trying to assault him. Since Suge was shot last year in a club, this is a plausible explanation.
I totally believe that he was being assaulted in his car by unseen assailants causing him to speed in reverse fast enough to run over the men he had an argument with just moments before, and then drive forward accidentally striking them again, unfortunately leaving them both dead. I wonder if the people in the BK saw these alleged assaulting assaulters and if they really posed such a danger that the rap mogul needed to kill two people to get away from them.
I confess I clicked on the click bait at the bottom of the article that said: Apparently Jail Has Turned Spetcor Into Gollum"
I wonder what fictional movie character Suge will turn into?
I think it is back to the slammer for the big guy. What an unfair world he lives in, constantly being in the wrong place at the wrong time and all these bad things happening to him.
I am just wondering if he would have had these same long streaks of bad luck with the law if he had chosen accounting.
Let me understand: Do black lives matter in this case? If they do, whose lives (life), victims or perpetrator, is it that matters? This race stuff is hard.
Missing is the most hilarious part of the story: Entertainment Weekly last night said that the man killed was Terry Carter, then proceeded to identify him as 86 year old actor Terry Carter, who starred in McCLOUD and BATTLESTAR GALACTICA in the 1970s-80s. Other websites ran with that story, and only in the last couple of hours have they started walking back the mis-identification. Turns out it's ANOTHER Terry Carter, possibly a 55 year old man who was once a producing partner with Ice Cube. Even Wikipedia listed actor Terry Carter as deceased as of Jan. 29, 2015...for about 8 hours. What is funniest about this is that nobody thought it odd that an 86 year old distinguished retired actor would be hanging out with Suge Knight in Compton.
"The victim is Terry Carter, who we're told is a friend of Suge's who arrived with him at the scene" This is from TMZ, so it's likely wrong, but if it's correct, it totally contradicts his story.
I wonder if Suge will now join the ranks of those like Clarence Thomas, Herman Cain, and Bill Cosby who can be criticized without fear of having that criticism be labelled racist.

TMZ says: Suge was scared because he's in frail health -- in addition to being shot 6 times last summer, he recently almost died from a blood clot.
“Looks like he drove backwards and struck the victims and drove forwards and struck them again."
In Compton, this is known as "assisting the end of life process".
“Looks like he drove backwards and struck the victims and drove forwards and struck them again,”
Curious statement. It suggests he was either driving in a circle or the victims were moving.

What? He backed over them in reverse, and then drove over them. Straight back, straight forward.
“Looks like he drove backwards and struck the victims and drove forwards and struck them again,”
If he wanted to kill them he wouldn't have stayed in the tracks.
Well, I don't claim any expertise in this subject, but I will say that if you want to drive over someone, you're best off with a Subaru.
He was in a tight space and had to go back in to get out.
Negligent homicide.
No doubt about it.
Book 'em Danno.
"Tire tracks all across your back, I can see you had your fun"
I thought this was going to be a post about Rick Perry.
If this had happened in a tunnel he could plead Traumatic Baby Tunnel Flashback Syndrome.

I believe Suge is a Blood.
"...and injured another man as he fled attackers."
Depending on injuries, hopefully the injured man is not now a Crip.

Good thing for him he's in California where the judges are subservient to celebs.
Driving over a group of people once can be ascribed to accident. Doing it twice, and shifting from
Reverse to Drive to do so, smacks of carelessness.
A good lawyer is already hard at work making Suge into The Victim here. It 's Like watching the Super Bowl of Criminal Defense.
It's not easy to drive completely over someone backward and then over them forward without some serious intent.
We're not talking squirrels here.
No whitemale villain; why is this even a story?
I expected that the link would take me to a story about a 100+ year old driver in a Denny's parking lot in Florida during the Early Bird special.
How ARMeltdown and/or Charles Blow might characterize this event:
The "victims" had it coming due to their long history of attempting to colonize dear Mssr Knight's "Rap Empire".
Related: It's not safe to walk behind vehicles if you're black!
For some reason, I'm reminded of a scene from the Sopranos.
"I told you to back away from him."
"I did back away from him. Then I drove forward over him again."
bbkingfishj: "I thought this was going to be a post about Rick Perry"
Yes. I can see why you would.
It's nice to know that a pickup truck can really do the stuff they show in the TV commercials.
LOL.
The victim fell down the stairs.
7 times.
Smokey Robinson was unavailable for comment.

Obviously the first impact was an accident, and the second was euthanasia. He just wanted to help them out of their suffering?
"Walking Behind a vehicle While Black" WBB
That goes to show you how dangerous a drive thru line can be with cars behind you and cars in front of you after they take your money and trap you.
Advice to Suge: Eat Mo Chikin.
Suge, the Gentle Giant of Rap, was turning his life around and planning on going to college...
Remember when someone called "Gruber" backed her SUV into a crowd of people at a Long Island Night Club yelling, "take that Redneck MF's"?
No one was killed, just injured.
She got off with a slap on the wrist, because her Dad was powerful.

My karma just took a big hit when I laughed at the text quoted for your link.

He apparently also left the scene and abandoned the vehicle in West Los Angeles.
Black lives matter unless they're killed by a black celebrity who is keeping it real.

Are they confident or is this a use of the locution x is y that means x is not y?
The future does not belong to those who insult the profit Suge.
I wonder if Suge will now join the ranks of those like Clarence Thomas, Herman Cain, and Bill Cosby who can be criticized without fear of having that criticism be labelled racist.
Sorta reminds me of that legendary NASCAR driver, Ricky Bobby.
once is an accident. changing gears and directions to do it again is something else.
"Doing it twice, and shifting from
Reverse to Drive to do so, smacks of carelessness."
That is similar to losing a parent, which is tragic. Losing two parents at the same time is carelessness.
Annals of the thug life. Episode 22.
They were in his parking place.
If only his car were equipped with a backup camera.
He would have only to run over them once.
Hey! You ever tried to find a parking space in Compton, mothafucka!
