Drudge's Thanksgiving theme: bowed heads.

I love the variety here. In the center column, Harry Reid has a seeming halo above him, and one frame down is the halo of streetlight over the snow in Ferguson. In the left column, the 2-headed Schumer looks devilish, and below him, Putin bows his head down and lifts up his champagne glass. Putin senses victory, while over in the right column, RG3 bows in the defeat of having "Played last game."

At the top of the page is a pumpjack, photographed to look like a hellish robot...

... and the headlines at the top of the columns reinforce a dread of encroaching robots: "Flying robots to start serving in restaurants by end of '15...," and "Scientists on brink of creating artificial life.../Digitize brain of WORM and place inside ROBOT!"

Now provide instructions on how to paint or draw it!

Drudge has got right links - the Immigration and Tax link from Politico and the Clinton and UCLA link from Wash-Post. The link to Drew story in NY review of books about Hagel on Instapundit is not on Drudge yet.

Questions:
- What is wrong with the Obama WH? Firing Hagel was a bad move - for Hillary?
- Michele Flournoy has declined to be considered. Why? She wants to be SecDef (fresh start) in Clinton admin. Right?
- But, what will be WH be like in Clinton admin? They will be Obama alums (some of who were Clinton alums).
- Amateur hour at WH now. In 2016, when another NYT fav. Clinton gets to the WH, as it is her right we are told, this hour will continue.

The GOP has to do something: Here are some ideas:
- Focus on support immigrants contributing to US economy.
- Accept good science. There really is climate change. And, yes, evolution did take place.
- Support more women and minorities in leadership roles.
- Etc.

Without this, the amateur hour will continue. Then Clinton handlers will screw up. I will then blame the GOP for falling to show up at the WH.

The Last Days are one way to look at the Drudge's themes.

In Scripture the creation of artificial life that messes with the seed of God's created man is the last call before closing time/Judgement Day.

Reid has a halo? I suspect that's steam coming out of his ears as his feet are slowly heated on the patch of ground where he'll spend eternity.

Skeptical Voter: "Reid has a halo?"

Not really. It's actually an airburst nuke.

This is what "going nuclear" karma looks like.

The lead story about oil prices is significant. The Saudis, in addition to funding XL Pipeline protests, are trying to kill off US oil production. It is certainly within their rights but it's too bad Obama is trying to help them.

"Scientists on brink of creating artificial life

No, not really. The Daily Mail is terrible with any (semi-)scientific info.

"It is the simplest organism we know of but has similarities to humans"

Nope. It's not the simplest organism by a long shot, and all organisms have similarities to humans.

The worm, though simple, contains 80 per cent of the same genes as humans...

Nope.

"The genome is small compared to humans (about 30 times smaller), yet it encodes over 22,000 proteins, only slightly fewer than humans. About 35% of C. elegans genes are closely related to human genes."

I like that way that robot worm article tricks you into feeling that they took the brain out of a worm and put it in a robot. They just digitized something and programmed the robot... I think!

You like to be tricked about new technology?

The article was ludicrously dishonest. IOW, pretty typical.

America's Politico: worst concern troll EVER.

If we listeners to your advice we wouldn't NEED Hillary, we'd already BE Democrats.

"America's Politico: worst concern troll EVER."

He's a parody. He just sounds like Democrats.

C'mon fellas, AP is a lot of fun. Don't discourage him.

And immediately above Harry Reid is the headline "Digitize brain of WORM and place inside ROBOT."

So does Matt think Harry has the brain of a WORM? Or the sensibilities of a ROBOT?

He's right either way, of course.

American Politico is fantastic.

Whoever is pulling it off is doing a great job.
