The bottom one looks a bit like eastern North Carolina, but the whole SW corner of the state is missing.
Personally, I'd like to see Michigan. Or New York, or Alaska.
The right one doesn't look like any state, even rotated. It can't be Vermont, which is widest at its northern edge, nor New Hampshire, which as a curved northern border and is widest at the south edge.
