"Why isn't this the subject of a post?"

Asks Unknown in yesterday's "April snow," and I say:
I'm not a news feed. And I don't post on everything about Dylan.

It didn't hit the level of interestingness that I was demanding at the point in my blogging day when I saw the story.
What is the sound of one hand clapping? And what is a post about posting about not posting and my posting about not posting and then posting that? Unknown!

ADDED: If I was going to do a post about Bob Dylan, it would be "Check Out Bob Dylan's NSFW Magazine Cover Designs."

News feed work would be drudgery.

Woke up yesterday morning to an ice covered lake and a just greening lawn coming off an 80 degree day, then fog rolled in thicker and thicker, the wind then changed direction and blew away the fog and with it the ice on the lake, then it started snowing so now the lake is ice free for the first time since mid December but the ground is covered with a couple of inches of snow and it is cold enough to have a fire.

You have to love spring in New England.

The Dylan "magazine covers" are fun. Sort of a dylanesque Mad Magazine satire (when Mad mattered).

I mentioned those and provided a link in a comment here during the Breitbart brouhaha in the last few weeks.

You are a news feed. Not necessarily a conventional one, but a news feed nevertheless.

Bob Dylan seems like one of those time and place musicians, like Benny Goodman, Woody Guthrie, and The Doors. Once people who lived through that era, who enjoy the nostalgic musical accompaniment, he'll be retire to the Home for Music Nerds and disappear (if he hasn't already) from mainstream adult music. I listen to some oldie (!) stations and he gets less burn than Hendrix or Janis Joplin. Prince, Beastie Boys, and Kanye will probably have longer staying power.

Just a fleeting thought, no research was conducted in the writing of this comment.

What is the sound of one hand clapping?

Good question.

Especially if folks started out by asking, for example, "Clapping against what?"

An unlikely happenstance.

I do NOT need the images associated with "Bob Dylan" and "NSFW."
