Oh. I can't keep up with all that I guess. I only vaguely remember a Lem. Bagoh is the only one whose absence is conspicuous to me. That moustache. Wow. That thing took no prisoners.
"In addition to coffee, tea, espresso, smoothies and a pour-over brew bar, this cafe is the first to offer our own craft beers, developed by our director of coffee and head roaster."
My husband's job is to be creative. He doesn't drink alcohol or caffeine. It would be fun to test him, one day on one another on the other, but I don't think he'd do it.
I don’t drink beer any more although it’s in the house for cooking. Strong black coffee heightens my senses and increases my ability to focus on abstract ideas. Alcohol makes Brill a dull boy.

Depends:
I blog on coffee, write music on beer.
The problem with beer is that while it absolutely will kickstart you, it'll also help you convince yourself that your crappy work is genius.
A little coffee, a little more tea, and occasional long cigar break work best for me.
The strongest, blackest tea I can find (usually Russian) fuels my days.
When did the Crack Emcee return?
I thought you eschewed this place. Eschewed the hell out if it, as I recall.
@Farmer, he periodically feels the need to scold the whiteys.
Not this place, but some of the commenters.
They're, mostly, gone now - to Lem's racist hellhole - and Romney lost (as I said he would) so,…

Try the Stout...delicious!

so now we're worse off.
I also predicted that Mittens was going to lose, but I didn't see that as a good thing.
"For malt does more than Milton can
To Justify God's way to Man."
why is it always either/or?
Can't we all just get along and say both?
Caffeine is a stimulant; alcohol is a depressant, and the first thing it depresses is your self-control brain center.

I disagree, but this is Ann's post on beer vs. coffee, so if you want to discuss the why's and so forth, hit me over here.
"Beer makes you . . . come up with great ideas."
Or really bad ones.
Problem is, you can't tell the difference after a few beers.

Racist!
I'd put weed in the same column as beer.
Notice, weed, beer and coffee all have two side-by-side ee's.
Wow man, I just noticed that.
Coffee is great but Tea Party guys only drink Samuel Adams Brown ale when creating a revolution.

Coffee is just a crutch for people who can't face the day without drugging themselves up first.
Beer is the crutch for those who can't face the night without being buzzed.
What's wrong with a crutch? You want a man with a broken leg to drag himself around like a worm?

I've lost the benefits of coffee because I drink way too much of it.
