A rattie! Just like my Trudy! They are great dogs. They are descended from the early American "feist," which led to the word "feisty." But they are also affectionate, and less high-strung than other terriers.
I thought the dogs wanted to get their picture taken, but Meade said they all remember him as the guy who gives treats. That's what the facial expression is about.
