That sounds like an acknowledgement that the idea of spinning off a supporting character with zero inner life was, maybe, kinda a bad idea to start with.

How about if Saul is out walking across the Central Avenue bridge and he sees the dorsal fin of this shark that's swum all the way up the Rio Grande, and he like jumps off the bridge and lands right on the back of the shark?
