Did you see all the wind turbines on the way to Horicon Marsh? I wonder if many geese or ducks get killed flying into the blades. I've never heard it was a problem there.
Obama is sure going after the softest targets, and I don't mean the beach-going Muslims of Libya or Somalia. No, I mean the elderly - anyone - living on or crossing federal lands.
What a petty, vindictive lowlife Obama is. A real scumbag.
Pretty sure Drudge has a "chickens coming home to roost" theme as it relates to US debt and foreign(Chinese) holders of the debt. Wonder how one says "You fucked up...you trusted us" in Chinese.
My grandmother's sister from New Richmond married a dairy farmer in Horicon, not far from my grandfather's first pastorate in Lomira. My dad spent a few days at the farm in Horicon during the Great Depression on his way to Pascagoula and a few more days on the return trip to Chippewa just a few months before the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. A few years later he earned his college tuition shipping out of Mobile and New Orleans. Apparently my grandfather's grandfather served in a regiment that made a few friends and influenced some people in the Mississippi Delta during the Civil War.
Saw concrete blocks (CONCRETE!) blocking parking lots on the side of Beach Dr. near Pierce Mill and elsewhere. The road is open and the trails run by the roadside but the parking lots are closed using concrete blocks -- they must have needed a crane to put them there and all for what, to stop two or three cars that some people may use to park there while taking a short walk on the trail with their dog? Absurd!

Shy thought and grave wide eyes and hands
That wander as they list—
The twilight turns to darker blue
With lights of amethyst.
I like the things that I like.

Imus: How old is Ruth Bader Ginsburg?
Bernie: Eighty. Unless she's lying.
