I like these dog pictures.

I just saw a photo in the WSJ online of Obama playing golf... wearing shorts.

If only the good Professor has seen that photo before she stepped into the voting booth...

The spiked collar is funny but I've always thought it would be uncomfortable for the dog.

I saw some awful examples of men in shorts around here in Madison yesterday.

It was 45 degrees, and it just looked painful. I saw one man with a big heavy backpack and shorts, running, apparently from the cold. It looked very awkward.

Some people claim that Matt Drudge is gay, but I'm pretty sure he has a bit of a crush on Rebekah Brooks. Or I may be projecting....

President Obama has shown an alarming tendency to be unaware of most everything.

45 degrees is still a little above where shorts are more comfortable than long pants, for bike riding.

It actually depends on the sun, where the cutoff is on cutoffs.

Below 40 I usually add sweat pants over bermudas, which gives the right cooling profile.

Below 25 I use two sweat pants.

i love the spiked collar on boston terriers. mine used to wear one when her roomie was a doberman. i always thought of it as her armor.
