It must be nice to stand on semantic divisions; but, ask them to recite principles, which are internally, externally, and mutually consistent, and they fall down in dissonant disarray.

The irony of the clown that runs Hatrois complaining about people judging him by his support of the Obama Administration is too delicious for words.

Obama is right wing? I guess he and his supporters make up the right wing of the loony left. But I consider the Clinton, Evan Bayh, and others, to be to the right of Obama. What are they?

Fascinating. In that world, Obama is right-wing and left-wingers stand up for individual rights.
But then, I already knew they were completely out of touch with reality.

Hmmm, I've been calling them Obamatrons since '08, so I guess I'm just off the mainstream.
I read the article a bit differently than some other commenters. The writer seems to be criticizing two kinds of leftists: (1) the "emo-progs" who regard anyone who less than totally condemns NSA as being toddies of the government and (2) the "O-bots" who condemn those who criticize NSA as doing so only out of hatred of Obama. The two kinds comprise a kind of Scylla and Charybdis for anyone of the left expressing any attitude toward NSA.
Sounds like more leftist navel gazing.
Pretty soon both the emo-progs and o-bots, not to mention Kevin Drum, are going to have to get out of the way so that the grownups can come in and fix the mess they've made.
