Looks like he was the one who got battered. Picked the wrong lady, I guess.

What difference at this point does it make?

The picture is priceless.
Not only has he lost his job, and his commission, but it looks like he got his ass kicked as well!!

Believing the story of the alleged victim takes the willing suspension of disbelief.

It was just an experiment to see how well the procedures worked.

I really enjoy the way the one "victim" beat the living sh*t out of him.

Of course the lefties on this thread will hate her because she refused to play the role of poor little victim, the way good little women are supposed to.

Fox, henhouse, you know the rest.

Occupational hazard.

That he was drunk makes it okay, so long as she was good-looking.

This brings to mind the old Polish Jokes. How many Poles does it take to fondle a woman? One Lt. Col. with poor pole dancer picking skills.

But she was asking for it by walking in a parking lot outside a bar... right? Right?

Now he can be made to retire and collect his pension.

This guy was not the 'Chief' of the department..but it makes for a good headline.

WTF? Obviously, all the branches of the service have people like this because of the allowance of women into the ranks.

This shit never happened when I was in. It makes me wonder, when I got out of jump school I was awarded "wings". After so many days in combat as an infantryman, I was awarded the "CIB". What does his award look like? Maybe the word sex with a red line through it?

Not too likely. He isn't nearly high ranking enough to get away like that. He's likely facing a felony charge and court marshal. Conviction would mean probable jail time with loss of all pay and allowances with a dishonorable discharge. Do not pass go. Do not retire.

He was assigned the job.

Doesn't mean he had any aptitude for it.

I know nothing about this, other than a very sketchy news report, so I won't comment on it. Looks like most other Althouse groupies feel the same way.

So, actually, it's court-martial, and officers are subject to dismissal, not dishonorable discharge.

This story is very bad news for both the Air Force and the current military justice system.

Just FYI, while sexual assault incidents have increased that does not mean ACTUAL sexual assaults have increased. Based on my time as an investigator in the Air Force back in the 1980s/1990s I know that many, and possibly most, of these allegations are proven to be false after investigation.

Of course that doesn't make for news . . .

How apt that the unit is called SAPR--pronounced sapper.
