Also among the fraud cases: a Milwaukee woman who is accused of signing a recall petition against Republican Gov. Scott Walker three times; and the petition circulator who collected those signatures.

I wonder how many were leftists.
Enjoy the decline, eejits!
But there is never voter fraud, and any identification requirement is racist, because shut up.
Liberals would have you believe that voter fraud is an extremely rare anomaly of no consequence... but voter suppression is rampant.
But there is never voter fraud,
Yes, didn't you hear? All those fact-checkers at the newspapers said voter fraud is a myth! And it was the news-papers so it must be true!
Any guess which party they voted for?
According to Garage Mahal, this stuff doesn't exist.
That's not that much fraud.
Garage has assured us this is not true; so voter fraud cannot be. And yesterday the "assault weapons ban" died in the Senate. Garage's week ends on sour notes

Yes, but like tax evasion, they probably represent the best documented cases rather than an all-inclusive set.
Oh sure, you would make a tip-if-the-iceberg argument.
But you should still click on the link, I think.
Voter fraud? It's twoo, it's twoo!
Based on an in-depth interview with the Al Franken 2008 campaign and the corruption rampant in Wisconsin evidenced by the governorship of Scott Walker, the always factually correct Garage Mahal has confirmed that voter fraud is only present in regard to republican candidates.
So 4 people voted illegally out of 3 million? You're really onto something here righties!
Thanks, Jerem.
4 people were caught. I wonder how many might be caught (or deterred )if we were actually allowed to check every voter?
I'm all out of shock. When I get some back in stock, I'll let you know.

Because everyone knows that all voters who commit fraud are always caught since it is in everyone's interest and economically and logistically feasible to fully investigate every vote cast.
I'm curious about the punishments meted out if convicted.
The guy charged with voting twice in 4 elections -- felony if convicted, 24.5 years, $70K in fines. The fines I think are justified...but why the decades of prison time? Is that just a cudgel to make him plea deal down to something less onerous? Has anyone actually been imprisoned for decades for voter fraud? I suspect not (I'm wrong, perhaps), and if not, why is it an option?
I also note that voting as a felon is a felony -- but forging someone else's name on voting documents (essentially making your vote more important) is only a misdemeanor, at least for those charged. That seems backwards to me.
I'll be interested to see what happens to the charges.

But 40 "assault weapon" deaths out of 300 million and it's all "OMG!! Whose 2nd Amendment rights can we take away?!?"

Well, you know those very efficient Wisconsin police. No crime goes undetected, no criminal escapes. They're like the ruddy Geheime Staatspolizei. Better that 10 innocent men be punished than that one guilty man go free.

Interesting question. I agree 25 years of prison time is ludicrous for a non-violent electoral offense. Ought to be nothing more than a fine and loss of the right to vote. We put way too many people in prison for nonviolent offenses.
Toldja.
This is that blowout, that stompin' people like AnUnreasonableTroll and the mindless automaton and Diamond like to crow about.
This is how they "won".
And yet we are constantly told by the Leftists/Liberals/Mayor Barrett/Dems/MSM(but I repeat myself)
that 'there is no fraud'.
The scum should be dragged through the streets behind a Prius.
Sure, 4 out of 3 million isn't all that many.
But then, 4 points:
1) Nice lie by omission, garage, since 10 people were charged, not just 4.
2) You always vehemently insist there is no fraud at all, ever, in any way, shape, or form. So you were either lying or utterly clueless. Why should your opinion of voter fraud matter ever again?
3) These 10 people were discovered and charged even though the liberal bureaucracy of Wisconsin is actively trying to ignore, dismiss and pretend fraud doesn't exist. (Just like you)
So just imagine how much fraud they would find if they were actively searching for it?
So we have significant, demonstrable examples of fraud in:
Wisconsin
North Carolina
Florida
Virgina
Ohio
All battleground states. 4 of 5 won by Obama, despite pre-election projections that Romney would win 4 of them and be competitive in WI.
Hmmm.
"Milwaukee County prosecutors Thursday filed voter fraud charges against 10 people..."
Why am I not surprised...
These reports are useless unless they name the candidates the person voted for.
All battleground states. 4 of 5 won by Obama, despite pre-election projections that Romney would win 4 of them and be competitive in WI.
Who projected that?
garage,
Does it matter?
Address 1-3.
If you have the courage, which I doubt.
Funny how all the states the Romster won had voter ID laws.
This is type of fraud is nothing compared to the number of illegal aliens voting in Wisconsin. If you have a utility bill, residential lease, or paycheck, you're in baby!

The vote frauders just skip an election once in while. Just to make it look like there isn't rampant fraud going on. Like "letting" win twice!
letting Walker win twice make that.
"Letting Walker win twice?"
That's weak garage. Weak baby.
I expect that from a Packer fan.
You lost fair and square.
Twice.
And he is still not in handcuffs. Just sayn'
The idea there is rampant voter fraud in Wisconsin by Democrats isn't borne out by the facts. Walker won twice. And photo ID wouldn't have prevented any of these 4 people from voting.
But photo ID isn't meant to prevent voter fraud.
So 4 people voted illegally out of 3 million? You're really onto something here righties!
If you could find four cases of Democrats being prevented from voting, you'd be literally hysterical about it.
The vote frauders just skip an election once in while
So, we only know there's fraud if Dems when every election? LOL, something tells me you wouldn't admit it even then.
Maybe illegals don't care as much about state elections. It's difficult for them to get a gig as a government employee. Most probably don't give a rip about public employee unions. Presidential elections are far sexier. Especially if you're hoping for amnesty.
Yea I'm sure that's it, Bushman. All makes perfect sense.

Your ability to twice facts and make on-its-face idiotic comments is a source of awe and wonder.
Photo ID helps to stop voter fraud and the only reason Libs/Dems/Leftists are against it is that it will make it harder for them to practice voter suppression.
In the 2004 election Milwaukee had more votes than registered voters. In November Philadelphia had precincts with 115-125% voter turnout and NOT ONE VOTE for Romney. Not one.
So basically Taj if you want to continue to make your self look like a willfully uninformed hack keep making such asinine comments.
More sense than your theory garage.
They should really be looking at those Philly precincts that turned out 100%.
garage logic: Vote fraud isn't sufficient to deliver a Dem win in every election, therefore it isn't sufficient to deliver a Dem win in any election.
Wow.
Voter fraud is just one of those unsolved mysteries of life that we may never get to the bottom of. We try so hard to find it, and yet we can never really find it, but we know it's pretty much rampant everywhere.
We just need to do SOMETHING!
Like the God Particle?
I see that we've reached the stage of the thread where you do your impression of a sturgeon flopping around on the deck.
I see that we've reached the stage of the thread where you do your impression of a sturgeon flopping around on the deck
My argument has been vindicated. It's not clear what your position or argument is.
Loretta Sanchez won by voter fraud against Robert Dornan.
When Congress voted to stop investigating, it didn't prove the fraud that happened didn't happen. It simply stopped the investigation where illegal Mexican immigrants were already found and acknowledged to have voted.
Facts are stubborn things.
It's not clear what your position or argument is.
If you find someone who can read it to you, see if he'll take the hook out of your mouth as well.
Why would anyone who bitches about voter suppression or disenfranchisement be OK with voter fraud, not want it looked for, routed out, prosecuted and stopped?
Such a person may feel a kinship with frauds, and want to protect them, or maybe they are just cheaters at heart, or maybe they have no confidence that they can win an election fairly, or maybe they just suck ass.
bagoh2, they are only concerned with voter diaenfranchisement because it suppresses illegal voters, like dead people, or those that register multiple addresses and names.
When it is Military members being denied their legal absentee ballots, or Democrats excluding military absentee ballots for the flimsiest of excuses, they are all FOR that type of voter suppression. Because they know the Military despises them and won't vote for them in the majority.
Preventing illegal votes for Democrats = "voter suppression".
