Much time passed as I sat and tried to think of a good enough comment to post but after a while it occurred to me that I should go give my elderly dog a hug.
She looks like a girl. I assume "Abby" means she is?
Dogs are pack animals. While she may not "belong" to you in an ownership sense of the word, you certainly belong to her. You are a part of her pack...and thus her family. She will always know, remember, and love you...forever.
She's your dog.
You roll on the floor and play with her as if she was a granddaughter.
PS Maybe what you need is a big snow cone maker.

I suspect she may adopt herself to you.
You're even mentally preparing for this eventuality...planning the year round snowpack to make her happy.

This sentiment, while not making much sense in any substantive manner, does indeed teach me the difference between the sentence as written and the sentence that it would have been without the ?.
I don't know what, if anything, the Pope has to do with Obama, so using a question mark when making a statement that could 'just as well' have used a period is expressing a similar view, but missing a small, yet pertinent, level of precision.
My expertise, were it as, is missing details both small and big.
Details aren't small unless we make them.
Just curious -- why not get a dog of your very own?

Not to be a wet blanket, but snow makers do not work in the summer.
That is a really cute puppy! I have a one year old Newfoundland who went through the same stage as this Saint Bernard. She weighs about 105LBS now, but she is still a lovable dog.

when the dew point is close to the freezing point, turn on the air conditioner in your car.
I would like to set a timer so that the snowmaker blankets my region in snow in the overnight, so that at 6 a.m., I get a text saying we're on snow schedule and report to work by 10 a.m.
It would be great to do this for those days when you know you'll want to sleep in.
