CLARA: There's nothing wrong with being a butcher.

MARTY: Well, I wouldn't call it an elegant profession. It's in a lower social scale. People look down on butchers.

CLARA: I don't.

Tune in tomorrow on the Brady Bunch, when Sam gives Alice Beef Cutlets shaped like hearts!

"It’s all in a day’s work for the Philadelphia-based artist, photographer and carnivore, whose newest project, Meat America, explores the American spirit and the symbols, figures, and history that represent it — all expressed through intricately-carved and sculpted cuts of meat. From state-shaped steaks to cellophane-wrapped hamburger meat spelling “LOVE,” the project is both conceptually eye-opening and seriously ambitious."

Heh. That cracks me up. Just last night I was in the grocery store and saw a whole fridge full of ribeyes shaped (sort of) like hearts; the sale was obviously for Valentines day dinners.

Looks like meat sculpting might be a micro-fad.

Wyoming and Colorado shouldn't take much time...

Though I'm not much of a carnivore, as a cartographer, I'm kind of intrigued...

That should have been a very special Brady Bunch.

Meat the Press.

What I too thought was "New Jersey" at first is Alfred Hitchcock, no?

I ate the British Virgin Islands last weekend.

We used to discuss who we were eating because we named our cattle.

"Is this still Eric, or are we eating Rusty now?"

(Perhaps unfortunately, we tended to name the cute little calves after relatives.)
