"... but the person did not immediately stop, only ceasing later in the day. It was determined that the suspect was a friend of the woman’s friend. The suspect reported he thought he was texting his friend and agreed not to continue texting the woman."
That happened, in Montana. Also: "A man was caught urinating in a First Avenue East parking lot."

Can't wait till Big Sis starts listening in on all those texters.
Florida Man gets around?
Kalispell hasn't been the same since Ted Turner bought his place. Damned flatlanders.
A cheap stereo and a hunting knife were stolen from a vehicle on Appleway Drive.
At least it wasn't an expensive one.

You two will enjoy Montana when Ann retires. Find a place along the Bitterroot- it is gorgeous.
I guess it depends on the phone, but I know that mine allows me to block calls or messages from specific callers.
One unfortunate thing about the much of the daily technology we use is that its abilities often far exceed our knowledge of how to use them.
This harassing 'sexting' is deplorable and I'm sympathetic to the victim but had this individual known how to better deal with it herself we wouldn't be reading about it in Althouse right now.
In other polivr news, "The Columbia Falls Police Department received a report of a verbal disturbance in a 13th Street West apartment."
"A cab carrying five passengers hit a sheet of ice and ran into a tree on Tamarack Lane. No one was injured."
I prefer urinating al fresco, but there are much nicer spots for it in MT than the parking lot on First Ave.
If the woman said "stop" and he didn't stop, then it's rape.
Dave Barry has been following the goings-on in Flathead county for some time.
My wife grew up in Columbia Falls, so I've been to all these places ("Hungry Horse: Best Dam Town in the West").
I find this all easy to believe.
