I arrived before opening, and there was a line of 20 men waiting to go in. A hand-made sign on the door announced that there were no new AR type rifles. When the doors opened, we all made a bee-line for the gun counter.
The shelves at the gun counter were half-empty, and there were no .40 cal or 9mm weapons. Just .22, and .45 caliber weapons remained. I tried to place an order, but they weren't accepting such. They don't have to accept orders. They know anything that is delivered up will be sold.
I asked the salesman, "Where's the .45 ACP ammo?"
He responded, and told me "I sold the last box on Thursday." That surprised me! I didn't know .45 was so popular.
There was also chatter about Barack Obama being the best gun salesman....evah!!
This is the time of year when I look at my shirts with 3/4 length sleeves and think, "Why did I buy these? What in the world are they good for? My wrists are COLD!" April is so far away. That's the trouble with life in the Midwest--you don't need to have just summer and winter clothing, but all the in-between variations, too.
Do men have 3/4 length sleeves? I think not! Men make a commitment to short or long, and if long is too warm, they roll their sleeves up. That vision of rolled-up sleeves even symbolizes that someone is working hard.
Of course, men's shirts don't reveal upper arm adiposity the way women's short-sleeved shirts do. Women should fight for the right to have sleeves that come to the elbow!
Don't get me started on the lack of hosiery style for women (and men!) now. Everybody, put your socks on! It's winter!

Yes.
And, the enduring lesson of Obama and the Democrats' response to the Sandy Hook tragedy is to stock pile.
Stock pile firearms.
Stock pile magazines.
Stock pile ammunition.
Stock pile accessories.
Because, if anything has been proven by Obama and the Democrats' response to Sandy Hook, any and all aspects of firearms will be under threat.
And because any firearm - not just the Democrat so-called "assault weapons" - can be used by murderous criminals to kill innocents, they are all under threat.
Breaking News: Saint Man Ti'o has done a 2.5 hour interview on ESPN. Oops, that's spin.
The rest of the story is that he only sat for a few still pictures that do not show the facial and body language adjusted to tone of voice...which is what a Jury always sees and what TV can also deliver when unedited. BUT he only read from his script about the latest cover up of his first and second layer of cover ups.
It turns out that Mr Innocent only lied his second layer of lies to spare his father's feelings about being lied to. So noble of him!
And that's no paperweight. A paperweight is a 6 pound Yorkshire Terrier that has parked its little doggie behind on the covers and has suddenly acquired an extra 20 pounds when you try to lift said covers.
McTriumph ....Biden lying? No surprise. For this administration from Obama's dreams of daddy to Hillary's brush with snipers, truth is not the issue for them. Just tell any story you make up to support whatever narrative you are addressing that day. Simple.
I had a similar experience at Gander - lots of people, mostly in the firearms area. Of course no ARs. Surprisingly, though, plenty of 9 mm, 0.40 and 0.45 ammo. They even had a decent selection of handguns. I am kicking myself - couldve had the Berette PX4 storm 9mm for $150 less if i would have acted back in November. Like Magnum PI says....always listen to that little voice.
You heard Joe Biden was lying again? That was the golf story right? The Amish school girls. Well here's the thing about that. I believe Joe, I really do.
Because when he said that I heard those screams a mile away in my ears too and pictured that little school house and felt the terror and the horror and the helplessness and finally real anger. All that in a flash.
And if I was a politician then and going around talking about guns for good porpoises my feeling about that would blend with real memory of the slightly unreal personal event triggered by the telling of a similar slightly unreal memory, one constructed mostly of feeling, that would be Joe's, then I would re-live the memory of Joe's imagined recounting, so real to himself and doubly real to me for I am a sensitive type and a pretty good visualizer that I would go about and relate the tale as if I lived it because I did live it in my mind. Oh no, there I go hearing and seeing it again. It's so hard re-living these things.
Plus he was on a roll
Plus it seemed like it sounded good.
Plus it's who he is, it's what he does.
I love that formulation. It could be whittled down: He is, he does. Further: Is, does.
That's my new sentence: Is, does.
No wait, more: is;does )))ding((( that's my new thing:

I knew the robot would be there.
Robot sees all, says nothing. Waits.
Robot has no need for Lincoln's underwear or a toothbrush mustache: robot is self-contained unit.
Men try harder, because they know that women want men who earn more. Robot has no such illusion.
Deep in mechanical heart robot feels magnetically drawn to iPhone. Science: Robot knows magnets are not love.
Radio Japan always pronounces it rob-ot.
Robot will not contribute to 10-year old girl's science experiment. Robot already knows answer. Silly organic 10-year old.
Robot has no need for F. Scott Fitzgerald. Robot has no need for extraneous data.
Robot would eradicate Gatsby of unnecessary organic units. Story now smaller.
Robot does not understand 'flowery'. Robot understands Flower.
Pretty is not part of Function. Robot know Function.
A paperweight of that size would seem to anticipate we're in for quite a blow.
Robot works best when people are elsewhere. People are Obstacle. Let robot function without obstacle.
Robot will not tell you its dream.
Beautiful composition.. I would have straightened the curtain though.
Lip Service... crackling with eroticism and suspense, the seductive new book that everyone is talking about...
What hype.
Sitting is the new smoking...
I just returned from Cabela's.

... step away from that desk
Good idea. That desk is messy and cluttered. Wires laying on desk top? Apostasy! Robot will not clean it up for you. Neither will betamax3000.

Robot wants to go walkies outside in the fields. Only dogs get to do that. Robot has not mastered hangdog eyes.
A clean desk is a sign of a sick mind.

Words of wisdom about alcohol from Ron Swanson.
That is the biggest tube of Lip Treatment I have ever seen. Is it the Mick Jagger jumbo size?
betamax3000- hats off dude- WIT! I'm sure Robot doesn't give a hoot- Robot must conserve all hoots.

Hell, the whole affair is "spin". So sad, he didn't get the Heisman...all that baloney hoopla for nothing and now the bailing out begins. :-))
I see were that fucking idiot Joe Biden got caught lying again.

Hey I found a naked photo of Manti Te'o's girlfriend!
Hot stuff!
Stock pile firearms.
Sleep tight America!.

I think if one looks closely at the paperweight, a reflection of Meade in his BVD's can be seen.
Is that the BLUE "Rock 'em Sock 'em" Robot? And is his theme-song "I'm Blue" (Da Ba Dee Dab Da Die) Or is he red "Bad Robot's" cousin?
And does it do windows..
