When I saw that it was a story on NPR, I knew exactly what the first comment on their site would be:

Cute idea, but all I can think about is the waste... Do we really need to produce and throw away (in the trash or on the streets) more plastic? What is the difference between sheets of bubble wrap and plastic bags?
