Thank goodness there was never any coordination between President Obama's campaign team and the regular White House staff. He might be in trouble if there had been.

Any time an investigation as cheesy as this one appears to be drags on for two years, it's likely directed at a political target and, Kenneth Starr notwithstanding, conducted by Democrat hacks.

Wisconsin has laws that seem to trip up politicos, and I see nothing wrong with that.

So good riddance to Chuck Chvala, Scott Jensen, and now Walker's minions.

Nine people died in Milwaukee County Hospital.

Only 4 died in Bengahzi.

Was this on Scott Walker's watch?

Where is the outrage?

Garage?

Oops Chickelit, didn't see your comment. Very funny.

Again, as mentioned why he had no chance to be Willard's v-p is the same reason Walker will never run for president ie having a criminal defense fund does not look good on a political resumé.

Re: Ryan/Walker's political power/influence er lack thereof, Obama won WI by 6.7%. Interesting We Ask America/Marquette U pollsters were the closest, whereas PPP/NBC/WSJ/Marist were quite conservative :D ...

Shiloh,

I had no chance to be Romney's running mate either. You never mention that.

He had no chance because he was elected in '10, moron.

But, then, they knew how many people Axelrod bused in from Chicago.

And, on the subject of being elsewhere, where were you hiding out 10/5 - 11/5 when the Romster was winning?

Trying to win the Florida python?

I'd agree with Madison Man if the laws only tripped up the politicians. When they get caught up in ridiculous prosecutions, it has the tendency to keep good honest citizens out of politics. In the long run, that is not a good thing, especially with all of the other disincentives to get involved.

It took four years to get an indictment against Blagojevich, and they had him on audio tape.

Tim Russell takes a plea deal. Hmmm, what was the deal?

Walker aide Tim Russell reaches plea deal

He'd be pretty stupid not to stop it if he knew.

I mean, how dumb would you have to be not to realize that even the appearance of impropriety needs to be avoided.

I suppose there are any number of politicians who figure they'll never get caught using troopers to deliver state employees for sex with the boss, but Walker?

From Milwaukee JS, re: Tim Russell plea deal.

The deal is probably gonna be pretty good for the Prosecutor, 'cause Russell's "last chance" to accept a plea bargain was a couple weeks ago.

Yea Obama sure is good at that to. But in the process he lets FOUR PEOPLE DIE IN BENGAZI!!! All to sell his re-election.

Oh.. this is about Scott? Who knew!

The most likely explanation is that Walker's minions did all of this illegal stuff on their own to benefit Walker, and Walker didn't know anything about it. Even feet from office. Yeppers!

Sure would be interesting though to be a fly on the wall in the DA's office when they were discussing a deal with Tim Russell.

The problem with many politicos -- and others -- is that they surround themselves with yes-men (and yes-women). What everyone needs is someone who makes you doubt what you think, who makes you evaluate and question. If the people around you are just saying the equivalent of Yes Your Excellency, Whatever you say Your Excellency, you are doomed to mistakes borne of hubris.

I have no idea if the above statement can refer to Walker, however, it's meant to be a general observation.

Apples and grapes PP. Blago had more going on than just his election. 13 or 14 other people were indicted along with this and even our humble president, the god like, Barak Obama had his bit part to play. I bet Rezko is pissed that his buddy won reelection. No pardon for Tony for Christmas this year.
Even Blagos father in law the famously corrupt Alderman Burke was appalled at Blagos level of graft.

So are you of the opinion that if Scott Walker had actually done anything wrong they would've indicted already?

Keep in mind, this investigation has been going on for a little over two years. You really think it should have been totally wrapped up in 6-18 months?
